The Scoop on Renee Zellweger's Missing Luggage

When we first saw Renee Zellweger in her jeans on the red carpet at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, we thought she was trying to make some kind of fashion statement. Turns out the star’s luggage was lost during the flight, forcing Renee to go straight from the plane to the opening gala in her comfy flying jeans, faded black long sleeve t-shirt and sunglasses. Even still, the Miss Potter actress looked fresh faced and happy. Luckily, her bags were quickly recovered, and she was in a more Renee-like black Carolina Herrera dress and strappy black shoes before the end of the night. Lesson to learn? Don’t check the dress if you want to wear it later that day — that’s what carry-on is for!

I applaud her for still showing up at her appearance and not being a no-show just because her flight was delayed, however surely there is a high-fashion ready-to-wear clothing store her assistant could run off to and pick something for her quickly that she could slip on. She wouldn’t have to change her shoes. They’re black and heels. That’ll suffice.
Anyway, good on her for still showing up.
