Dita von Teese is the ultimate in pin up girl beauty: flawless, milky white skin, perfectly tonged hair — and have you seen that body?! When PEOPLE caught up with her at a MAC Viva Glam event in London this week, we wanted to know all of her beauty secrets. “I do yoga and pilates” she revealed as her tiny frame wafted past in a silver mermaid-esque Dior gown. “I also do my best to get my beauty sleep which means knowing when the party is over!” And, how does she maintain that perfectly porcelain skin? “Sunscreen is very important but there isn’t one miracle cream, we’re all different.” After performing in a pink Swarovski crystal cow girl outfit (which off course was quickly removed) complete with crystal covered Christian Louboutin boots to perform her risqué burlesque style strip tease, she switched back her glamorous gown and went clubbing with her girlfriends, dutifully leaving at 1:30 am, with a sneaky yawn on the way out. At least she practices what she preaches.

Yay! Let’s glorify strippers! Ooooh, she’s so awesome and beautiful. She takes her clothes off for money. I want to be just like her! GROSS.

I would like to know what is the ideal beauty image to you guys who keep mocking her? I don’t understand why everyone should be all tanned and looking the same way? Why should everyone go with the flow and be copies of each other? I can’t really understand. And yes I do admire what she does, and I would like to do it myself if I just had the confidence and the body. Thank you good night.

Lauren, you are an idiot. Do you even know what burlesque means? look it up on google.

Lucia, from what I’m getting from your comment and the way you type, you seem pretty ignorant too. how old are you? 12?

I agree with Mona.

anyway, burlesque dancers they are way different from strippers at strip clubs. now Dita here is a performing artist and knows how to do nudity in an artful and tasteful manner. the fact that she is sporting the classic 40’s/50’s beauty makes her a porcelain, statuesque goddess!

She is all-around classic beauty and really is a modern day Bettie Page.

I once saw pictures of her with Pamela Anderson at a restaurant, and compared to Pam’s orange crackly skin, fake boobes and plastic face, Dita stands out as classic next to some trashy Barbie girl.

I think she should ditch the heavy makeup and try a more natural look. The heavy makeup makes her look years older.

Dita is the most beautiful woman that I´ve ever seen and I´m telling it because I had the honour to meet her in Ibiza, after a performing of hers. Pure porcelain beauty!..and I can assure you that very few women, even after all that make up can look so good. She is 35 and her skin looks amazingly fresh, not at all like a tipically Plastic 21st century beauty.

You don’t get her style? It’s called old hollywood glamour. The women of the 30’s-50’s were so beautiful, they embraced being a women. They had curves to die for, curls done up just right, and lets not forget those dreamy cat eyes of the 50’s the bold eyebrows are the luscious red lips. It was a magical time in fashion that few people embrace. Dita embraces this, she lives it. And I admire that about her. She looks like a women. The style of girls today just seems to be getting worse and worse. And another thing, before you mock her about being a burlesque dancer (or stripper, seeing that it is a form of stripping) then watch a video of her doing it first. It’s so tasteful and fun. It makes all of us girls want to put on a show for our guys. It’s empowering and is a way that any woman can embrace her body, use her curves, and feel sexy and beautiful.
