Heidi Klum Gets Sweet on Makeup and Mothering!

Marion Curtis/Startraks

What could be sweeter than all the treats in the temporary Victoria’s Secret Beauty Candy Shop in Manhattan? Having your own signature makeup line in the works — just ask Heidi Klum. “These are colors that go with pretty much everyone,” Heidi tells PEOPLE, opening up a palette in a gold-metal case that features an etching of her face on the front. “Because this is the first one I wanted to go with ‘basics,’ although that sounds boring, it’s not. I have palettes where one is completely gone and the others aren’t really touched. But I wanted something where they’re really all great. You can’t go wrong with any of this – it’s not too intense or too crazy.” And in case you’re worried that the mom of three has lost her edge, Heidi assures us, “And they’re very sexy!” And she tells us that three-year old daughter Leni is indeed getting into her makeup. “I let her. She has to understand she can’t go to school like that. She’s only 3! But as long as it stays at home and she’s playing dress-up. I think if you have rules, then you can let them have fun, too.” Unlike Leni, the rest of us will have to wait until November to get Heidi’s signature line.

Which Spice Girl Has The Best Style?

getty

It’s been six years since we last saw them together on stage, but The Spice Girls are back together for one last tour! Victoria Beckham, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown have changed a lot since their days as Posh, Sporty, Ginger, Baby and Scary — remember their original themed costumes? While we’ll have to wait until the tour kicks off in December to see what their new costumes look like (so excited to see them!), we are content to ponder the quintet’s street style — and of course, the good old days. Tell us: Who had the best Spice Girl style back then? Who has the best style today?

Diddy’s $500 18K Gold Sneakers

Frank Micelotta/Getty

During his performance of “Last Night” at the BET Awards on Tuesday night, Diddy was blinged out as usual: diamonds in his ears, a chain around his neck — even down to his feet. The hip-hop star was rocking a pair of Upper Echelon Shoes on his feet, complete with 18K gold chain shoelaces. And it’s not the first time Diddy has worn the haute sneakers — he rocked two pairs of UES while filming videos in L.A. recently. Expect to see the $500 sneakers showing up on some other showy feet — Grandmaster Flash and Mariah Carey, who purchased a pair for LA Reid’s son Aaron as a present, are also said to be fans of the brand. Nicholas McDonnough, manager of the East Hampton store Blue & Cream, where Mariah ordered the $500 shoes, tells PEOPLE, “If you’re into sneakers you want something really different and new — and nobody’s seen everything like that before. [People are] pretty impressed when they see it.” Want a pair for yourself? Click here to find a retailer nearest you.
