I’ve never had blue stuff every shown up on my skin with the clean and clear blotting sheets. They are the absolute best. I’ve tried Clinque also and they didn’t suck the oil off as well. I don’t like the paper sheets that deposit powder onto your skin.

I also use Mineral Veil mineral powder and that works wonders.

I always use blotting papers. I find that MAC’s paper’s work the best… even though they are slightly over priced ($17 for 30). I’ve tried using the Bobbi Brown ones ($6 for $100) and they were just horrible! I had to use 4 each time! The MAC ones are thick and made from a different material. They work really well.

I should add – with this prod I never have to use blotting papers. I like that I can put it on and forget about it.

I actually use the Clean & Clear sheets. The price is just right, and the blue doesn’t bother me (probably because I have medium skin and it doesn’t show up). The only other blotting sheets I’ve tried are the ones from Victoria’s Secret, and they don’t work as well as Clean & Clear.

I do not like Clean N’ Clear’s sheets, they remove my makeup. I have used Boscia’s sheets, and they don’t work any better.

These blotting sheets are a rip off. The Clean & Clear version even contains mineral oil. Why would I pay to add oil to an already oily face? My solution is a large brown recycled paper napkin from my local Starbucks – it works like a charm! I only need one, it’s cheap (free with the price of a coffee), and they work better than the blotting sheets you can buy.

Before makeup I control oil with Epionce’s Lytic Gel Cleanser–it really helps control shine. Blotting papers are a must (now I’ll have to try the one you recommended above) and I like Got Blot by Urban Apothecary. Although its a powder, its super light and doesn’t cake up.

I am 36 and still have skin that gushes like an oil well all day long. I use blotting papers every hour or two throughout the day. I have tried so many brands. The plastic type are horrible. The very best are Shisheido’s. They are large enough to do the whole face and have the slightest hint of powder. I keep them in several locations throughout the house, my car and in my purse. I cannot live without these!

anything but the clean and clear ones…the price is decent, but the product isn’t too good…i will definitley be trying some of these…also, there are some luminiscent (no color) powders that you apply on top of your makeup from the drugstore and they work pretty decently…

I have oily skin so I’m always searching for a way to stay shine free. So far the best has been Boots No 7 Mattifying MakeUp Base. It’s hypo-allegenic and doesn’t dry out my skin or peel off. I apply it over a spf30 moisturizer and it keeps me nice a dewy all day.
