Tyra Banks never holds back on the red carpet — over-the-top gowns with dramatic hair and makeup have become the daytime diva’s signature look. But even knowing that, Tyra’s gown at the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Show last Friday made us look twice. Not only did the custom-made Roberto Cavalli gown require handlers to help Tyra walk down the red carpet, but we cannot figure out how she sat down in it! When you look as good in a bikini as Tyra, why cover up with so many poufy layers of fabric? Tell us: What do you tlhink of Tyra’s gown? Love it or hate it?

I reckon Tyra looks absolutely like a royal princess from one of the African tribes. She is absolutely gorgeous and stunning and her dress is so “out of this world” and not to mention her skin tone!!! I would just go to extremes to have that striking bronze complexion!.

Love Tyra, hate the gown. =/

Posh on

The dress was on the puffy side but it fits her I personally would have cut it at the knee

It looks like she crumpled it up into a ball, stuffed it in her suitcase, and then pulled it out later and just said, ‘Okay, I’m ready to go!’ They is a way to make wrinking look fashionable. This just looks like something she pulled out of the dumpster.

Canadian, eh? on

She looks like a bronze statue.

I think that maybe if the bottom half of the dress was toned down (less layers, not so poufy, etc.) I would love it. As it is right now, I’m kinda on the fence.

I absolutely love it. She looks like she stepped out from back in the Victorian times. Very chic and different!
