Kate Winslet has played everything from a damsel in distress in Titanic to an adulterous wife in Little Children (count the Oscar nominations!) — but she can now add being the face of Lancome Tresor to her illustrious resume. Kate says that it was her identification with the values of the brand that lead to her newest role. “I didn’t feel that I was just being asked to be the face of something,” Kate explains. “It was me as a person. . .and my message to women — about being real in who you are and comfortable in your skin.” Look out for Kate’s commercials and ads, shot by legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh in Paris, to break in September.
