Is Posh Becoming Sporty Spice?

Chris Pizzello/landov(2)

First Jessica Simpson ditches her Roberto Cavalli gowns for sweats and baseball caps, and now Victoria Beckham is leaving her micro-minis behind for warm-up jackets and sneakers? What’s going on with our favorite glamazons? Posh stepped out into L.A.’s Dodger’s stadium yesterday to throw out the first pitch in the Dodgers vs. the Mets in casual white shorts, a Dodgers zip-up jacket and sneaker wedges (it’s still Posh, after all). Victoria looks so appropriate for the occasion, we’re beginning to worry that it’s the end of her jaw-dropping outfits. Say it ain’t so! Tell us: What do you think of Posh’s sporty look? Do you like her over-the-top outfits more?

Spokesmodel Alert: Kate Winslet for Lancome!

Stefano Pandini </p

Kate Winslet has played everything from a damsel in distress in Titanic to an adulterous wife in Little Children (count the Oscar nominations!) — but she can now add being the face of Lancome Tresor to her illustrious resume. Kate says that it was her identification with the values of the brand that lead to her newest role. “I didn’t feel that I was just being asked to be the face of something,” Kate explains. “It was me as a person. . .and my message to women — about being real in who you are and comfortable in your skin.” Look out for Kate’s commercials and ads, shot by legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh in Paris, to break in September.

Beauty Obsession: Benefit BADgal Blue

Courtesy of Benefit

I was traumatized enough by the fad of colored mascara for your hair to keep myself far away from anything on a wand that’s not basic brown or black. So even when Benefit Cosmetics released BADgal Blue, a navy version of their ultra-popular BADgal mascara, I was a little skeptical. But after trying it out, I was pleasantly surprised. A swipe over my eyelashes makes my blue eyes seem brighter — not just the whites, but the irises as well — and a little over my lash tips brightens my eyes when I’m already wearing basic black mascara! The real test was applying BADgal Blue on my brown-eyed best friend, who loved it too!So now I’m a blue-lashed girl. BADgal Blue is available for $19 at sephora.com. –Jolene Hart
