Would You Carry a Teeny-Tiny Bag Like J.Lo’s?

We are used to seeing celebs hauling oversized handbags, but J.Lo decided to go to the other extreme last week, carrying a teeny-tiny clutch to a charity concert in New York. This itty-bitty cognac gold leather clutch with large crystal clasp is the “Beauty” by Swarovski and more of a wallet than a purse. Called a minaudiere in fashion terms, it’s beautiful, but not too practical. What could J. Lo fit in there? Whatever it was must have been something important though because the she even took it on stage with her! Tell us: Would you carry such a teeny tiny clutch for a night on the town?

It looks like a jewelry box. I would never use it, I could even fit my favorite chapstick or even my car key in that. It looks silly and it would be just as easy to hold a small clutch purse and look fashionable!

Yes,I already collect them, these are pieces of art work.
If I have a social event, I just put my keys and lipstick.
But if you carry a lot stuff in your bags this not a practical handbag. Yvonne

no!…i would probably end up losing it! and what would be the point? I dont think anything of mine would fit in there!…except for money?…maybe a small lip gloss?

Probably not – too small. I have the Little Red Riding Hood approach to purses – not too bit, not too small…just right.

JLo looks great..as usual. I wouldn’t use the purse…just too small. I would store any contents that small in a pocket or somewhere else.

In that pouch I would carry money, lipstick and a pantyliner just in case of in incident.

I have a Mary McFadden bag that is super small like JLo’s. I LOVE IT! It is just big enough for a lipstick, mints and a few other small incidentals. I took my small blck beaded bag to a wedding a few weeks ago and it was so great to not have to find a place on the top of the table to put a larger bag. It fit perfectly by the top of my place setting and was not in anyone’s way. LOVE IT!

Sure thing! As long as it fit the few things I needed, I would choose the smallest purse. :- )
