Everyone may have been talking about the number of outfits that Eva Longoria wore while hosting the NCLR ALMA awards — thirteen on stage, sixteen total for the night! — but Eva’s interest was in who made each of her fabulous gowns. The soon-to-be-married star wore only Latino designers, right down to the jewelry and the shoes. Eva tells PEOPLE that “they really show the color and flavor of our community, and I always wear them regularly anyway, so it was kind of a perfect match. It’s great because fashion is another extension of where Latinos have contributed immensely.” And while her long-time stylist Robert Verdi helped select the first round of dresses to try on, Eva had a hard time narrowing down from thirty options to twelve. “It pained me!” she says of having to turn down couture gowns. “They’re all my favorite children!”

Amanda Peet’s new daughter, Frances Pen, has the crystal material girl white tee, $35. Just remember to keep laughing through another cup of spilled milk.

Jessica Alba sported the perfect summer look on the pink carpet of the MTV Movie Awards last night: loose, flowing waves and shimmery, golden makeup. We loved the look on the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer star so much that we had to get in the inside scoop from her glam squad. Makeup artist Evelyne Noraz tells PEOPLE that she “was going for a warm, bronze look that compliments pretty, tan skin — a really summery feel. I wanted to keep it simple and focus on her natural beauty.” Noraz focused on the eyes, using “a smokey brown, gold-tinged shadow with a few single false eyelashes for volume, and a gel liner on the upper lash line.” Natural-looking lips and cheeks topped off the look: “I used a peachy lipstick and a bit of shimmery gloss on top, and then I added a combination of bronzer, pink blush, and shimmery powder to make everything kind of glowy,” says Noraz. And her loose waves added to the beachy effect. Redken hairstylist Robert Ramos let “her hair air dry and scrunched it a little bit. Then I worked in a little bit of volumizer when it was still wet. Finally, I used a large iron here and there to add subtle waves.” Can’t wait to try it out ourselves!

Silver heels weren’t the only trend worth trying at this year’s MTV Movie Awards. Celebrities like Jessica Biel, Fergie and Amanda Bynes showed off their killer figures in multiple versions of the little black dress. Justin Timberlake’s rumored love added some white detailing to the bottom of her simple deep v-neck April, May dress while the “Glamorous” singer opted for a sporty racer-back plain smock with polka-dot clutch while Amanda Bynes rocked some serious bling with her curve-hugging Herve Leger number. Just when we were really loving her asymmetrical bob, Rihanna went and switched up her style again! The Cover Girl showed off a new flapper-style blunt bob with heavy straight bangs at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards. Turns out that her stylist Ursula Stephen cut it that day. She tells PEOPLE “We definitely had to do something different and fresh for the Movie Awards of course. So I just figured bangs would be the perfect choice — and the perfect step instead of going too short. [Rihanna] wanted to go even shorter than that!” But this won’t be the last new ‘do we see from the singer. Stephens tells us “We don’t know if she’s going to keep this cut for the tour.
