Ashley Olsen is Ready For Fashion’s Big Night

As a prelude to the star-studded CFDA awards tonight, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen co-hosted a dinner with Swarovski to honor this year’s nominees. And for Ashley, it was no small feat to be included in such a big fashion moment. Wearing pieces from the twins’ new upscale line The Row, the budding designer knows first-hand the importance of supporting new talent — and is looking to do it as a fashion insider. Olsen tells PEOPLE “I’m excited to be here and support the CFDAs. I think it is really important to young designers. This year has wonderful new meaning to my sister and me, because we’ve been more and more involved in fashion. The fashion community has been very supportive to us. We’re presenting tomorrow, so that’s just an honor in general.” And maybe next year, we’ll see the girls back up as nominees, not just presenters.
