Will You Wear The Olsens New Clothing Line?

Peter Kramer/Getty

Even though Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s high-end fashion line, The Row, is now selling at Barney’s nationwide, the designing duo is not content. Good thing because neither are we! The Row’s $655 floor-length Modal cardigans and $875 banded strapless dresses are beautiful but too pricey. The solution is Elizabeth and James, the sister’s new clothing line named for their younger siblings. As Ashley told Women’s Wear Daily the contemporary sportswear line is for the “sophisticated woman with a playful side.” The more affordable line ranges from $40 t-shirts to $450 coats and will be in stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Intermix this fall. Expect washed leather jackets, supersoft shrunken T-shirts, pencil skirts, cashmere sweaters, chunky knit swing jackets, fur jackets, silk dresses and sequin minidresses all inspired by the sister’s closet. To see more check out this post at fabsugar.com. Tell us: Would you buy MK and Ashley’s Elizabeth and James line?

Get Beach Hair From a Bottle!

Courtesy of Frederic Fekkai

Upon being told recently that my hair looked “windblown — in a good way,” I couldn’t help but laugh — the air conditioning in my office is strong, but not that strong. Thanks to a few key products, I’ve mastered the art of beach hair when the furthest I’ve gone is to the corner deli. Bumble & bumble Surf Spray, $24, is an old favorite — it imparts the feeling (and light smell) of saltwater in your hair. But I’ve recently discovered Frederic Fekkai Summer Hair Beach Waves spray, $20, which gives soft texture and a whiff of old-fashioned sunblock to my natural waves. If sprays aren’t for you, check out Kusco-Murphy Beach Hair, $29, which even has bits of crushed bamboo in it! If only faking the perfect beach body was as easy. . . — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

Behind the Scenes at Rihanna’s CoverGirl Shoot

Steven Williams

The “Umbrella” singer is belting out another tune these days: “It’s easy, breezy, beautiful CoverGirl.” In her inaugural ads for the new beauty campaign, Rihanna touts a mean pout with CG’s Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers lipgloss. But she admitted to PEOPLE that her must have product is, “Concealer. It is so important for under the eyes because it just wakes you up.” As a tomboy in her younger days, Rihanna, 19, was not allowed to wear makeup. “I would sneak and do it,” she says. “My mom is a make-up artist so I really wanted to put on makeup and she wouldn’t let me because I was always too young. And now I can because I’m a Cover Girl.” A true product junkie, Rihanna’s favorite on-the-road pastime is not going to the hottest clubs, instead it’s going to CVS! “When me and my best friend get bored at night we go to CVS to buy a bunch of stuff to try. I like different color eyeliner, I love different shades of lipsticks and lip glosses, anything with colors.” Bright colors are perfect for her summer album promotional tour along with her new edgy bob haircut. Rihanna is definitely a “Good Girl Gone Bad”!

Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” available June 5th, $9.99 amazon.com. CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers available in July.
