Eva Mendes’s Love of Leopard Print: Sexy or Snooze-y?

Lately, we’ve been having deja vu when we see Eva Mendes on the red carpet — everything looks so familiar! And then we realized that it’s Eva’s love of leopard print that’s doing it. The actress has worn the animal print to no less than three events in the past month: a D&G gown at the N.Y.C. premiere of Live, Anna Molinari tent dress at the photocall for We Own The Night in Cannes, and a flowy gown for the Dolce & Gabbana party in Cannes. Eva’s always working a retro sex-kitten look, so the leopard print makes sense. But for the sake of telling her outfits apart, we wish she’d venture out of the animal kingdom a little more often. Tell us: Do you think leopard print is a good signature for Eva or should she try a new look?

I only like the dress on the left. I personally wouldn’t have more than just one leapord print piece, but she looks beautiful in everything. With her great skin, she would look gorgeous in bright colors this spring!

I think she looks great. The print compliments her skin tone. So what if she wore the print three times in one month. How many events does she go to a month? It’s not like she wore it to every event she’s gone to in the past year. I have also gone through phases were I liked something and went a little crazy with it. I had been getting my nails painted in the same color brown for the past two months! Now I’ve moved on to metallic silvery gray. That to will pass in a month:)

she looks great…althought im not a huge fan of the dress on the right, its a little too big…i think as long as she doesnt start wearing leopard print everyday shes fine!

The first two are alright, but the last dress looks like she’s wearing a sheet or drapes. She’s definately looked better.

I am not a fan of the lepard print but Eva pulls it flawlesly.Still just because you figured a certain look works for you dont overdo it. It gets boring and makes people think you dont have much imagination when it comes to fashion styles.And with so many fashion labels out there and great figure and toneskin like hers it takes very basic fashion sense to get it right.
