Fashion Faceoff: Nicole Richie vs. Halle Berry

Nicole Richie’s Madison Marcus tunic was a big hit with People.com readers — and apparently with Halle Berry too! The Oscar winner stepped out for a grocery shopping in her chic black silk dress over Memorial Day weekend, while the petite Simple Life star wore hers to a salon appointment last month. We usually don’t think of Nicole and Halle having similar style, but this easy tunic looks terrific on both of them! Tell us: Who do you think wears the dress better? Nicole Richie or Halle Berry?

Definitely Nicole. I also think that women who are over 40 should wear skirts that are a bit longer than this one..

I think they both look great. And bravo for Halle for knowing only Nicole can pull off that length. Btw. is Halle hiding something underneath these loose summer dresses?

Nicole looks much better, I think. For some reason, Halle just looks manly in that picture. I like how Nicole paired it with shorts, too.

Neither! I’m sure it’s very comfortable but it’s not very flatering on Halle and it is WAY too short on Nicole. It might look better on Nicole if you could actually tell that she was wearing shorts. I just don’t like the neckline.

i think nicole wears it better. that type of neckline/cut of the dress makes larger chested women look heavy when they’re not.
