splash news online; MARTIN MISTRETTA

We can see how white or red plastic frames might not be for everyone — sometimes you just want to feel a little sleeker. The newest take on oversize is here, and dare we say, here to stay. These extra large metal frames in hues of gold, bronze, pewter and silver compliment every skin tone — as well as every piece in your closet. And the thinner frames won’t completely overpower your face. You’ll find all kinds of shapes including the traditional aviator like the pair that Victoria Beckham rocked recently in Paris. Check out our picks of the hottest versions in every budget range.

This is a fad and not worth investing in.

Lia on

Most of the sunglasses that Victoria wears are from her own dVB designer range – available at Kitson, Fred Segal etc, priced $250 – hand-made, exclusive range.

Shiraz on

Exactly Lia. The sunglasses Victoria is wearing in this pic are from her range dVb eyewear and almost all the other ones she was wearing since last summer are from her range as well.

Im not a fan of victoria beckham but i like those sunnies though.I would personally opt for plastic though because metal might be a bit heavier.

Does she ever smile???? It gets really annoying looking at her pics and she is never smiling… its like is life really that horriable being a billionare.. ???

Arlene on

Does anybody knows the type of sunglasses and designer name of the ones Paris Hilton wore on the 1st episode of the new season of simple life?

Jack-E on

Where can I get the sunglasses Jennifer Aniston is wearing in the photo from 5/29 (Malibu Beach Party)?

alia on

I really don’t like this look…these sunglasses remind me of the 80’s for some reason…I agree AnnieM, I think this is just a fad & not worth investing in…

Ashley on

Blek. I can’t wait until this fad is over – I think huge sunglasses are so ugly!

I can’t wear them if I’m going to be in the sun for a long time – can you imagine the tan lines on your face? Bahahaha!

AnnieM on

Thanks Alia (what a cool name)! I can’t stand fads and feel it is ridiculous to spend money on them. Doesn’t anyone have any personal style anymore?

Jana on

Jack-E, Jennifer Aniston’s sunglasses are Tom Ford “Jennifer” sunglasses in the dark brown color- I have them and I love them!! They are a classic style and they do not take over your entire face, but they are kind of expensive- they retail at $310, but I have a friend who just got a pair on EBAY for a lot less expensive….

glad on

i would not wear those in particular but i do like the big sunglassed but not the ones that make you look like a bug..and i dont like “posh” her hair gets on my nerves !!

sophieb on

She looks awful with those sunnies i agree they make her look like a beetle or a bug good one glad!!!! She should wear some slightly smaller glasses because her face is petite.

night on

never mind the glasses, check out her clavicles…they are about to cut right through her skin. She needs to be roomies with Nicole Richie in the eating disorder clinic.
This woman is digustingly skinny and needs help.

Susan on

I’m not a fan of sunglasses that give you the bug look (as frequently seen on Nicole Richie), but I think Victoria Beckham always looks fabulous and her aviators okay.

sam on

okayyy does this girl ever smile? i dont think i have once seen a picture of her where she looked happy.. i like this trend, the sunglasses are cute, bigger sunglasses are more flattering on my face.

Nicole on

To each her own, I guess. I just don’t want to own a pair of sunglasses that covers up my entire face. Might as well wear a veil. I have some great sunglasses with backside AR coating from Lafont and they’re not only stylish, they give great coverage for my eyes. Nope. Won’t be buying anything she has on her face, thanks.

lovem on

I love love love the huge sunglasses. they look chic and can really compliment your face shape. also, my father’s a doctor and he says this trend is not just great to follow as fashion but it also helps to prevent wrinkles around the eyes as you age. just a tip!

Julie on

She actually IS smiling. Which is amazing to me, because if you watch wide shots of her walking, you realize she is absolutely harrassed with a throng of photographers all calling her name and swarming in her way. She can barely walk forward half the time. Being a millionaire might be fun, but not being able to move probably isn’t something that has you smiling all the time.

alia on

Thanks AnnieM!…like your name too! :)…

nic on

She’s fabulous, glasses are fabulous, hair is fabulous.

elen on

i think victoria is gorgeous and i love her sunglasses i’m def. going for a pair

sophieb on

I think shes so overatted.

Sienna on

I LOVE this trend i was already starting to get into it like back in April , but it was too hard for me to find some of these colored frames , but now NO WORRIES

Erica P. on

Victoria Beckham always has the best sunglasses!

Tiasha on

She’s not smiling because obviously she hungry…look how thin she is. I do dig the shades…they are pretty cool.

Dany on

that lady always looks soo grumpy… its like her billion-dollar life is miserable
