Trend Worth Trying: Oversize Metal Frames Like Posh

splash news online; MARTIN MISTRETTA

We can see how white or red plastic frames might not be for everyone — sometimes you just want to feel a little sleeker. The newest take on oversize is here, and dare we say, here to stay. These extra large metal frames in hues of gold, bronze, pewter and silver compliment every skin tone — as well as every piece in your closet. And the thinner frames won’t completely overpower your face. You’ll find all kinds of shapes including the traditional aviator like the pair that Victoria Beckham rocked recently in Paris. Check out our picks of the hottest versions in every budget range.

This is a fad and not worth investing in.

Most of the sunglasses that Victoria wears are from her own dVB designer range – available at Kitson, Fred Segal etc, priced $250 – hand-made, exclusive range.

Shiraz

Exactly Lia. The sunglasses Victoria is wearing in this pic are from her range dVb eyewear and almost all the other ones she was wearing since last summer are from her range as well.

Im not a fan of victoria beckham but i like those sunnies though.I would personally opt for plastic though because metal might be a bit heavier.

Does she ever smile???? It gets really annoying looking at her pics and she is never smiling… its like is life really that horriable being a billionare.. ???

Does anybody knows the type of sunglasses and designer name of the ones Paris Hilton wore on the 1st episode of the new season of simple life?

Jack-E

Where can I get the sunglasses Jennifer Aniston is wearing in the photo from 5/29 (Malibu Beach Party)?

alia

I really don’t like this look…these sunglasses remind me of the 80’s for some reason…I agree AnnieM, I think this is just a fad & not worth investing in…

Ashley

Blek. I can’t wait until this fad is over – I think huge sunglasses are so ugly!

I can’t wear them if I’m going to be in the sun for a long time – can you imagine the tan lines on your face? Bahahaha!

AnnieM

Thanks Alia (what a cool name)! I can’t stand fads and feel it is ridiculous to spend money on them. Doesn’t anyone have any personal style anymore?
