If you weren’t so keen on this spring’s ubiquitous white shades, try red! They may seem a little bold at first , but they flatter most skin tones and range from deep burgundy to eye-popping cherry. Lindsay Lohan added some color to a basic black dress with her classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers in red, $130, at sunglasshut.com — not surprisingly, fashionista Mary-Kate Olsen also has a pair. Check out our picks for the hottest red shades, no matter what your budget is!

Red is a terrible color on me–it doesn’t work well with my southeast asian skin. I will definitely passing on these (and stick with my white Dior sunglasses instead)!

I am going against the trend on this post and will admit I like the wayferer! I have a pair in the mix. They can be fun to wear and are quality sunglasses.

EWW NO! Im gonna stick with my Chanel shades for now thanks.

I agree with Renee, I personally like the wayfarer…reminds me of Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan. I’m not too keen on them in red though. Just like any other sunglasses, not everyone can wear them. It just depends on the size and shape of one’s face

Well, I am not fond of the 1950′s style shape sunglasses….but, I have a pair of Ray-Ban’s (partial wrap around rosey silver half tint) and boy, are they wicked nice, high quality, and sexy too I might add, these shades I have get the compliments…plus, they are worth the price!

I would try it, but in a more flattering shape. I love big sunglasses and I have the right face shape for them, so for me it wouldn’t be anything new.

I have a pair of over-sized chunky white sunglasses with crystals inbedded in them on the sides. I get compliments on them all the time. I didn’t think I would look good in the white sunglasses, because I’m always wearing the normalcy black, so I thought white would look funny on me, but I was wrong.

Yuck, I do not like the Ray-Ban Wayfarers, they are ugly. I guess some could pull them off with the right shape of face. They don’t look flattering on Lindsay, those Ray-Ban’s look awful, especially in red. I would try the red color in a pair of over-sized sunglasses. The Forever21′s are cute. The Vogue red sunglasses at Sunglass Hut are cute, but however they are out of stock.
