Well I can’t remember the last time I wore an XS (did I ever?) and I am so glad I wasn’t the only one that thought $88 for a hoodie was a little much. With a husband, 3 kids, pets and a mortgage…I’ll stick with Old Navy & Target.

I hate shopping at Old Navy now–their XS fits like a Medium. I’d rather shop where clothes actually FIT and won’t poop out on me after a month.

These seem a little pricey at first but you have to remember, they are basics. They won’t go out of style, they aren’t trendy, so this is case where it is worth paying more for good quality that will last a longer time.

I own two pairs of the Bop Basics Istanbul pants and I adore them. To me they were worth every penny. I would wear them every single day if I could get away with it. They are extremely comfortable and incredibly versatile. I’ve shopped at the Gap, Old Navy, J.Crew..the whole slew of them and have not found one pair of cotton pants I love more than these.

I own a few Bop Basics and they are WONDERFUL!! They are the softest shirts ever!!! I really love the Burn Out Tee & Heather Grey Raglan shirt. They wash really well too! Unlike Old Navy or other lower end brands…. I LOVE Bop Basics!!! Buy one, you won’t regret it.

I love the bop basic…I personally have one and it is worth every extra penny that others are complaining about! The cotton, feel, versatitlity and fit of the t-shirt is incredible and better than anything Old Navy could provide…Maybe on a model it looks like everyting else, but wait till you try it on and pair it will your favorite jeans or your hot new satin skinny leg pants…so much can be done with this top….you can wear on the weekend with your rattiest pair of jeans but also to the office with your nicest pair of pants…I love it and HIGHLY recomend it!

I would NOT pay $159 for plain chino 100% cotton pants just to run errands in. There aren’t even any inseam choices! The same type of style is available from J. Crew for less than half the price.

I’m originally from Madison, WI, and I could not believe that bop and shopbop had originated from there! I loved going into their stores, and now online, but their prices are a little too high for my college girl budget…only really special finds for me. The new line looks really cute and comfy, but I can find “basics” like that at Old Navy and Target, and no one can tell the difference.
