I love wearing tent dresses — they’re comfortable, easy and mask a post-meal tummy. But looking at the ever-lovely Kate Walsh in her two dresses from yesterday, I am thinking of pushing mine to the back of the closet. The newly-engaged star hit the ABC Upfronts yesterday in a fitted white Catherine Malandrino halter dress that really showed off her enviable shape, only to change into a sack-like satin Colette Dinnigan dress for the Entertainment Weekly party later that night. One day, two dresses — and a world of difference! Where did her little waist go? Her fantastic cleavage? Tent dresses may be comfy, but sexy they are not. Stars like Charlize Theron, Dita Von Teese and Penelope Cruz took in the Dior fashion show in New York City on Monday night with some pretty atypical runway results. Putting Carmen Electra’s runway slip to shame, models spilled left and right due to the impossibly tricky platform shoes they were given to wear. Even veteran model (and Kid Rock paramour) May Anderson couldn’t walk in the impossible shoes, which had a spiked heel and ball in the front, required for the show. When Anderson went down, a source said, “Her ankle turned twice — I thought she had broken her leg.” Andersen had to be held up by two other girls to walk the finale, while another girl fell twice and John Galliano almost fell as he came out for his bow. There were whispers after the show that members of the audience were nearly in tears it was so upsetting to watch. This is going to make us feel a lot better the next time we can’t walk in our high heels!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ashton Kutcher with the clean-shaven face that he first burst on to the scene with — but this week, he’s crossed the line from cute and scruffy to out of control! Between the beard and the messy hair, Ashton looks more than a bit rumpled, especially next to his always immacute wife Demi Moore. We think it’s great when guys play around with their appearance, and if anyone’s handsome enough to pull it off, it’s former model Ashton. But, come on — stop punking us and show off your famous face again! Tell us: Do you think Ashton Kutcher should shave his beard? Or do you like him hairy?

Spring is upon us, and that means that I am faced with having to put aside my opaque tights and bare my legs — my incredibly pale legs, that is. I have never been a fan of self-tanners — blame on my application skills, but I inevitably end up looking like I have a rash, not a tan — but I have a miracle product instead. Britney Spears has gotten her famously toned physique back in a major way, so we understand the impulse to flaunt it in her figure-revealing clothes. But the singer’s retro outfit does seem like a little much for just a day of shopping — the shorts are sweet and the colorful sneakers are perfect for summer. But the hat? The airbrushed tank?
