She fled as dawn approached.

Dawn as a slowly opening eye.

White sea birds skimming over the water,

looking for an early morning snack.

The mirror brightens.

From a blood moon at dawn to a mirror

reflecting waking life…

I woke her to take the moon.

Her campaign was swift and terrible.

Metallic and fierce.

Glaring up in the twilight.

But the moon was both implacable and unreachable

and in the end the war against the moon failed.

As dawn rose slowly from her bed, the moon slipped away.

But in the end, all that was lost,

was a little sleep….

I think it’s a very commendable act, not to be mean on a daily basis, tough at times for some people but, trying never hurts. I, myself, practice no religion, I believe in connecting the good/positive/inspiring energy of the universe.

Well, I try to be a good, encouraging, positive person in my daily life and here in “off the rack” and yet, I try as well to see things from every perspective with equal respect because it gives me a greater understanding of how things actually are.

So, basically, I am glad for your posting, because it’s a different perspective. Plus, I am sure you are a very relaxed individual too, excuse me for stressing it so much in my last posting to you!!

It’s just that I try not to. You’re right that I’m trying to overcome human nature — it’s actually part of my religion. But even if it isn’t part of yours, I think most people try not to be mean in their daily lives.

Some comments are just snarky, but I think the venom that girls sometimes spew about other girls is heartless. And if it’s okay for someone to call a stranger “leatherface,” it’s okay for me to say that I think that’s pretty mean.

Also, enigma, thanks, but I’m pretty relaxed. Just not okay with some things, and willing to put in my opinion about it.
