John Mayer Cuts His Hair! Love It or Hate It?

We’ve been wondering when John Mayer was going to cut his hair for quite a while, and it’s finally happened! When Mayer showed up with girlfriend Jessica Simpson to the Met’s Costume Institute Gala on Monday night, we were torn between fixating on his new ‘do and her daring dress. But when we went solo to the Time Magazine 100 Most Influential People celebration, we could really get a good loook — his formerly messy mop of curls had been transformed into a slick and suave new look. Turns out that celeb stylist (and Sheer Genius guest-judge) Hershberger trimmed the singer’s mane into a neat, clean-cut shape at her Manhattan salon moments before he made his appearance at Monday night’s event. I like Mayer when his more casual and natural – the short hair makes him look very young and too clean-cut. To much POP for my taste but hey I’m not dating him Jessica is ;-)
