Very elegant. At your wedding you want to have a wedding cake, not look like a wedding cake. Add a veil, beautiful.

Are you kidding me? So many people think they can get a $100 dress and turn it into a $3000 dress by going to a seamstress and having her add something to it for half the cost. HAHA. It never happens that way, a dress is $3000 because that's how much it costs to make including all the labor among all the people involved, the fabrics, and details. If your not a designer you will never understand.

I ordered dresses & have already received. The ivory color is YELLOW. If you order make sure you order IGLOO/White. The strapless dress had serious QC problems, the dress was too short, the breast darts/seams were uneven!!! Strange that Target website wil not post my comments, I have been loyal customer. Also ordered the trumpeto dress (pictured above) it was great fit, you can dress up with nice veil & jewlery.

I just purchased one from Target the other day - can't wait til it comes in! Make sure to check their website because there are around 12 different styles. The ones above just happen to be the most simple styles of all.

i think this is a great idea. they are plain, but classic at the same time. it's wonderful that he is doing this... some people can't afford $3000 just for a dress. it may be for your 'big' day, but $3000 is a house note!! if it fit me, and i feel gorgeous in it- i'd buy it! no one would know the difference.

Simple but smart wedding dresses, suitable for summer wedding.
The first dress is lovely, maybe can add a few beading works on waist so look more elegant. Matte satin. why the fabric of hem look different.
The second dress suitable to be wear by bridesmaid , I think it can be made stronger and better on bodice.

I ended up @ a high end wedding shop & was totally disappointed when 2 months from the wedding date, I went to a last minute fitting, & the wedding dress was too big and too short!!!! Brides-maid dresses were backordered....I just fell apart & lost it when I got home. My husband said something to me I'll never forget, "we have forked out BIG $ for this wedding & have lost site of it's true meaning & what it's all about...let's elope to the beach & have a party when we get home". I too, like some of your girls thought for about 5 seconds how I would miss out on the beautiful gown & fairytale we all dream of as a little girl. But then I realized he was right. We got married barefoot in the sand 10 year ago (we’re still happily married). I wore a white short Cindy Crawford looking dress I got of the rack. I look back & I'm glad now that I listened. It's just natural for girls to want this fairytale. Some of you may stone me to death for saying this, but 10yrs later I look back & see that the dress was not important at all (but I thought it was). I don't care for the 2 dresses shown, but I did go to the TARGET web site and saw several beautiful designs that look fashionable & affordable. I’m pretty picky, not on a budget & I would wear them.

I would ad a ribbon under the chest of the dress on the left and make a big Bow that falls to the floor in the back.

I think it great for people with smaller budgets. theese are just two dresses. they probably have other styles to please everyone.

I just got engaged last week and when I heard about this line I had to check it out, and for me the simple style and price are perfect. I too went to David's Bridal and I left crying. The lady actually told me I was fat (I'm a size 8) and needed to loose about 30 pounds. At the prices at target I can get the dress and get it altered for about a third of what I would pay for a similar dress at David's. Also, I feel bad making my maids pay $200 for a dress they will probably never wear again, so I am too considering getting there dresses from Target and I think they will be greatful for the price break.

I think they are lovely and could be altered and still be cheaper than the majority of dresses.

I have had problems with rudeness at David's Bridal like several other posters.

Wish they had this when I was wedding dres shopping! I had sticker shock at the prices of wedding gowns, and my experience with David's Bridal was horrendous! I would have definetly purchased one of these dresses and had a seamstress do what I wanted for a fraction of the cost. Pretty, elegant and simple= perfect!

I have to defend David's Bridal based on the last comment posted. I have had a wonderful experience with David's Bridal and their prices are completely reasonable! I find the dresses at Target, at least the ones pictured, to be very boring and plain. I don't think I would ever buy something so important as a wedding dress at Target. I buy GROCERIES at Target!
