Isaac Mizrahi’s Bridal Line for Target

The past few years have yielded affordable bridal collections from some of our favorite stores — Ann Taylor, J. Crew, even H&M — and now Isaac Mizrahi is bringing his signature style to a bridal collection for Target! Available only online at target.com, the line will include bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and accessories for men and women, all for under $160! And of course, the line is chic enough to be worn to a cocktail party, black tie affair or even prom. Mizrahi says of the decision to make a bridal collection, “My bridal gowns are all reinventions of the classics, providing an affordable alternative for women everywhere. I put a lot of design energy into designing this collection for Target because every bride deserves to find the gown of her dreams, regardless of her budget.” We couldn’t agree more – who doesn’t love cheap chic?

Wouldn’t these dresses serve as wonderful (and affordable!) starting pieces to build on top of – Imagine all possibilities!

With some beading, embellishing, lace, or whatever else you can dream up, anyone who is willing and able to put the time into creating their own wedding dress could have a stunning creation all their own!!!

those dresses look really elegant, i think this line is a great idea for women who have expensive taste but no money. im just not sure that people are going to like going to their neighborhood target for something as special as a wedding dress.

I find that David Bridal offers beautiful wedding dresses that are affordable and have alterations right there does target.com offer that probably not.

I THINK THE DRESSES ARE GREAT.
SOMETIMES WHEN A DRESS HAS FEWER RUFFLES AND WHAT NOT, IT LOOKS MORE ELEGANT AND EXPENSIVE.
I LOVE TARGET FOR EVERYTHING!!! AND NOT ALL OF US HAVE A HUGE BUDGET FOR A WEDDING SO EVEN IS YOU DO BUY YOUR WEDDING DRESS FROM TARGET, WHO WILL KNOW?
SOME PEOPLE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON LAVISH WEDDING AND END UP GETTING DIVORCE IN LESS THAN A YEAR. IT’S ALL ABOUT HOW YOU PUT THINGS TOGETHER EVEN IF THEIR NOT FROM A FANCY STORE.
I SPENT ONLY $3,000.00 ON MY WEDDING AND IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL AND I WAS SO HAPPY WITH EVRYTHING. EVERYBODY THAT I INVITED THOUGHT I SPENT $15,000.00.
I HAVE BEEN HAPPILY MARRIED FOR 10 YEARS AND I WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING IF I COULD DO IT AGAIN.

I love what they did and I think it’s great. This really enables bride who otherwise can’t afford expensive dresses, to still get an affordable dress that is chic and elegant. Some may say it’s boring but I think their perfect. In a wedding, it’s not the dress that should stand out, but the bride.

In the post it mentions that the dresses are only available to order Online… I think that I would much rather try on my wedding dress, before I buy it! Yet, at that price, you can pay to have top notch alterations if need be..!

These dresses are hidious. A woman wants her wedding to be special, i wouldnt wanna look back and remember wearing a dress like this!

I think the dresses are beautiful. And they are great for women who have a small budget or are getting married for the second time, or women like myself, who just don’t see the point in spending an absurd amount of money on a dress that will only be worn once!
