I haven’t seen “Sex and the City” so I can’t really say anything other than, S’s description was my general understanding of how the show was/is presented!!

And, for the posters who make statements about something they don’t know….just clarify you don’t know okay…it took me awhile to realize it’s OKAY NOT TO KNOW everything! I’d rather admit not knowing than look foolish…please, no offense!

You can tell that she is a sincere, genuine, kind person. She has made something of herself after a lot of hard work. With regards to her style, she has helped launch so many trends – some having been seen on “Sex and the City”, and others off-screen – and can carry off just about anything. For those who either refuse to give “Sex and the City” a chance, or have and did not like it, they should open their minds and realize that despite the word ‘sex’ being a part of the title, does not mean that it is the ONLY thing that the show is about. It doesn’t ‘glorify one-night stands’. Yes, sex is depicted on the show, and it is often discussed by the characters, but not in a crude, unrealistic way. I learned a lot about dating and relationships from this show – without having to go through the heartache myself to learn these lessons. “Sex and the City” has scores of fans, both women and men of a variety of ages. I find myself wondering if the show were about men, their relationships, and yes their sex lives, would more people find it acceptable? After all, sexuality is natural, so why shouldn’t women be able to talk about it? Episodes of “Sex and the City” have also addressed issues including the repercussions of unprotected sex, the importance of getting tested, and of course, the independence of women. Obviously it’s not appropriate for young viewers, but once you’re about 17 or 18, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

Anyhow, I do think she seems very sweet and down to earth, and looks very pretty on the cover of the magazine.

They also have a Bitten by SJP site on their homepage, where you can sign up for update emails about the Bitten line. When I first heard that SJP was doing a clothing line, I was worried it would be outrageously expensive like a lot of the celebrity-designed clothing ranges – yet it’s $20 and under! I can hardly wait to check out the Bitten collection!
