i have natrually wavy hair, but during the summer months the heat turns it into a head of frizz!! so i let my hair dry naturally (scince the blowdryer just seems to add to the frizz)and then run my straightner threw just the top and bottom layer. i still get the body i need from my waves, but the frizz is sanwiched in between the two layers! also a really cute look i am trying to pull off is a low side pony with a twist. all i do is pull my hair into a side pony, tie it with a clear elastic hairband, seperate it just above the band, and then flip the band threw the seperated part! it looks so classy and chic and if you tie your whole look together with a printed head band or head scarf, you will look like you just stepped out of hollywood....which is good for a wisconsin girl like me! =]

My Magic Combination: Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner (Walmart et al) and Generic Silk Treatment (from Sally's, better than Biosilk.) After shampooing, put conditioner in and clip it up while you finish showering, rinse hair last. Use silk treatment while damp, then style. These two are the best hair products I've tried, and best of all, you can get them both for less than $13! Erica K, 22, Broken Arrow, OK.

Okay, a week ago I went to a stylist who must have hated me. I don't know what crime I committed against her, but I am very, very sorry. To exact her revenge, this lady hacked away at my bust length wavey hair until it was a collar bone length mess of choppy layers! I left the salon in tears, it was just awful. I'm a very long-hair-one-length kind of chick, and this is soooo not me. It actually looks like "the Rachel" which wouldn't be so bad if it was 1995.

In the mean time, to camouflage my hair disaster, I've made myself learn a few new easy updo's and purchased a bunch of those really wide headbands. They're actually very cute! Can't wait 'til it grows back, though!

I love Frederic Fekkai's Summer Bandana. It protects your hair with SPF and for those with thick, poufy summer hair, the cream texture helps weigh it down and keep it smooth.

I have long fine hair. During the summer instead of using a whole bunch of products to style my hair or get some kind of cute due, after a shower I will towel dry my hair as much as possible, then wrap my hair up in a bun. When it is dry, I take it out to reveal loose spiral curls that can look casual or look like i spent hours with a curling iron. It's healthier for your hair to instead of using all those products and heat!

I have really frizzy hair especially during the summer. After years and years of trying different products to no avail, I bought a bottle Herbal Essences None of Your Frizzines Smoothing Leave in Creme. I didn't honestly think it would work but to my surprise it keeps my hair tame even during the hottest days. After I get out of the shower, I drench my hair in the creme and let air dry and my naturally curly hair has no frizz to it and its soft. My husband loves the fact that he can run his fingers through my hair unlike other products I've tried in the past.

I have incredibly thick, curly hair that just loves to frizz. To make it worse, I live in FLORIDA! However i foudn the most AMAZING product for frizz, it doesn't make your hair stiff and doesn't weight down the curl. Alterna's Hemp texturizing glaze. They also make a Hemp straightening balm that I use when I have 2 hours to iron my hair out straight, but who has that kind of time! It's a little pricey, about $20 per tube, but it'll last about 3 weeks if you use the right amount!

What I do especially in the summer weather is just let my hair dry naturally...if im at the beach the wind basically drys my hair and leaves is looking as if my hair has a natural wave. To set it off I mix up some seasalt and water and use a spray bottle to spray it all over my hair. It holds the waves better.

Nicole G, age 21, Winnipeg, MB: In the summer, I let my curls go, but when I have to be somewhere or look serious, I pull my hair up into a cute twist with some curls hanging loose. Then I use those great elastic-headbands to tame those face-framing strands... it looks pulled together enough for work, and trendy out at night!
