I spent summer 06 in London, and while I looooved Boots the store, I’m not sure if the actual products they’re marketing here are more incredible than something like Sonia Kashuk from Target. However, I will say that the Botanics lipgloss smells great and is really smooth because it has all natural oils in it.

I’ll tell you what, I’ve been using their Skin Brightening Deep Clean Gel from the Botanics Line and have been really impressed. From two dollar cleansers to forty dollars… I’ve about tried ‘em all and this is definitely one to look into if you’ve got oiler skin. :)

I’ve been using Boots products for about a year, or close to it. They’re available at my local Target Super Store. I love, love, love the nightly hydrating moisturizer! So many moisturizers are greasy and don’t hydrate – even if they claim to. Boots is light, non-greasy, and it REALLY hydrates the skin! I love it! I also love their non-allergenic eye make-up – I use the smudging eyeliners (pencil on one end, smudger on the other) and I love it – and it doesn’t bother my very sensitive eyes! I’ve also worn their non-allergenic eye shadows and really like them, too. I wear Bare Essenctuals make-up everywhere but my eye liner and occasionally I’ll wear a Boots eye shadow instead of the BE shadows. But what I really do love is their hydrating night moisturizer – Oh, and their eye make-up remover is great, too – it’s also not greasy! The prices are great as are the products I’ve used.

Speaking as an expat, I am thrilled BOOTS products have made it to the US. They are high quality, at an affordable price for every one.I started using Refine and Rewind 3 weeks ago, I am amazed at the results so far.

Boots is like CVS in the UK – it’s just an everyday drugstore and their brands are everyday drugstores brands. The majority of their stuff is no better than something you could get for a quarter of the price in CVS or Target. Celebs and British expats like me love the store, not the brand.
