Bid on Charlize’s Jeans and More Star Pieces for Charity

This month Jergens Skincare celebrates its 125th birthday by teaming up with the Clothes Off Our Back foundation to host the “Beautiful Skin is Fashionable” celebrity auction. To mark the occasion several stars have cleared their closets and donated signed designer duds and accessories to be auctioned off to raise money for select children’s charities. Items up for bid include Charlize Theron’s Blue Cult jeans, Jessica Biel’s Tahlula tweed coat and Penelope Cruz’s Luciano Padovan peep-toe pumps. Naomi Campbell, Eva Mendes and Rachel McAdams also have autographed pieces on the bidding block. Winning bidders will also
receive a Jergens moisturizer prize package valued at $35. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Defense Fund, Autism Speaks‘ research division and the emergency relief efforts in Darfur. The auction is online at clothesoffourback.com now and runs through May 3rd. Start your bidding!

Excellent idea!

I can’t see myself buying someones used clothing even for charity. I’d rather just donate the money outright. WHy would I want this womans pants in my house? Yuck. Besides, I can only see her as her “Monster” character now…I can never see her as an attractive woman again….strange.
