Would You Wear Jennifer Lopez’s Bell-Bottoms?

If there was anyone who could pull off a pair of second-skin silver bell-bottoms, it would be Jennifer Lopez. And yet, even on her, we’re a little skeptical of the look. Her belted black jacket is completely chic, her long pin-straight hair is flawless and her makeup is glowingly gorgeous — but we just cannot stop staring at those pants! Is that fringe coming off the hems? Woah, cowgirl. Tell us: Would you wear Jennifer Lopez’s pants? Are you wondering why she decided to wear them?

Beauty Obsession:Sephora Sun Safety Kit

For those of us who are resolutely pale year-round, having SPF 30 on hand at all times is a must. But with carry-on regulations at airports and the desire not to carry my entire medicine cabinet out to the beach, having portable SPF is even more of a necessity. And that’s exactly why I am in love with Sephora’s new Sun Safety Kit, which has eight mini products, including SPF 30 face creams, eye creams and lip balms from amazing brands like Korres, Bliss, and Murad. The products come in an adorable sunny yellow zip bag and each one is just big enough to keep you fully protected without weighing down your beach tote. The best part is that 100% of the net proceeds from the $22 set will benefit the Skin Cancer Foundation. Cute, portable protection that benefits charity? I, for one, am totally sold. Get yours by clicking over to sephora.com. — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

London Celebrates New York Style at the V&A

While we can’t stop buzzing about all things stylish from Britain across the pond, London’s biggest art and design museum has turned the focus on us. The Victoria & Albert’s exhibit ‘New York Fashion Now’ opened on April 17, and the results are great. The fierce young N.Y.C designers — think Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, Derek Lam and Behnaz Sarafpour — are celebrated for their rapid, style-setting success throughout the exhibit. Photographs and trend-defining garments, such as Sarafpour’s fairytale gowns, exquisite tailoring from Thom Browne, Zac Posen couture and avant-garde costumes from Cristian Joy, known for style-setter client Karen O. And why New York now? “World fashion has a lot to do with celebrity and New York is the souk of the world,” Posen told PEOPLE at the exhibit’s opening. More details on ‘New York Fashion Now’ are at the museum website, or if you won’t get to London before the exhibit’s September 2 close, the V&A also released a hardcover book, New York Fashion, to coincide with the collection.

Kate Middleton Still Looking Fabulous

Kate Middleton must be taking a cue from Carmen Electra and Reese Witherspoon on how to handle a very public romantic break up. Look fabulous, of course! After her split with Prince William, the accessories buyer stepped out for a night of dinner and clubbing with her girlfriends, proving that just because she isn’t going to be the next princess, she can still be every bit as chic. We love her long-sleeve, printed shift dress paired with dark tights — very young Hollywood of her. Even without the Prince by her side, we’d still love to keep our fashion eye on her. Tell us: Will you miss seeing Kate?
