Great Green Idea: Fleurville Totes

Ok, not all of us can get the sold-out Anya Hindmarch “I’m Not a Plastic Bag,” but don’t worry, there are plenty of great eco-friendly bags to be had! Fleurville has created a line of Stroller Bags using Re-Run™, a fabric that is woven from the remains of recycled plastic bottles! Available in four colors, the bags retail for $70 and are already popular with celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Sara Jessica Parker. But Fleurville’s colorful floral totes and diaper bags aren’t exactly environmental offenders. Everything in the line, from the totes, $60, to the Fob wrist bags, $22, are environmental-offender PVC-free. Get yours at fleurville.com.

Orange isn’t my color, but this tote is actually kinda cute.

Ugh. Encouraging more ridiculous consumerism is not a “green idea”. Spending $70 on a designer tote is antithetical to the whole green movement. Go to your local library and buy one of their canvas totes for a few bucks instead. That way you support your community, save money, and don’t have a bag that screams “I am a mindless sheep”.

Going Green would be going to goodwill and buying this bag it’s called recycle and it’s green idea.

Although I don’t particularly like this color, I think this bag is cute. There are some really cute color options on their website.

I agree with Nonny, how is spending $70.00 on a bag, helping the planet? Isn’t that what going green is about, my suggestion is to save the 70 and donate it.

This bag is too cute for summer. I love it. Looks fresh & kinda retro. I like that they’re making any effort to help the environment, as opposed to using generic fabrics that just hold our crap.

Perfect for a day at the beach. Canvas gets wet and sandy -this will be easy to clean. Plus I know I won’t lose it at the beach.
