I’m wondering where Britney got that tan colored trench that was posted on March 29. Anyone know?? I’m looking for a cute little trench. – Meredith

Britney Spears headed out for a dentist’s appointment a few weeks ago in a sharp tan trench coat by up-and-coming NYC design team Doucette Duvall, whose chic threads have also recently been worn by Michelle Trachtenberg. The trench is pricey — $615 at intermixonline.com. For a more affordable option, try a $50 one from the Gap, or this easy $20 one at walmart.com.

We’ve seen it before with Carrie Underwood — she’s the picture of innocence on the red carpet only to reveal a sexier side onstage. And last night’s CMT awards (where the singer won three awards) was no exception. Carrie told PEOPLE that “I just wanted something different, just something sweet” of her ’50s-style Badgley Mischka dress and nude Christian Louboutin heels that she arrived in. But her onstage look was anything but sweet, with silver hot-pants showing off her toned legs, a keyhole top, armful of bangles and legwarmers over stilettos. We want to know which look you prefer! As soon as we spotted Kelly Clarkson with her cute floral bag, we thought it looked incredibly familiar. Turns out that it’s vintage, but we were still racking our brains to figure out where we had seen it. And then we realized that it reminded us of an adorable bag at Target! This Xhilaration Soft Satchel in Blue Floral looks amazingly similar to Kelly’s sweet tote and is only $15. Move over H&M. Make some room Target. Starting today, Gap is introducing a limited edition collection of white shirts designed by three of the hottest design labels in the industry (and winners of the 2006 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund): Doo.Ri, Rodarte and Thakoon. The Gap Design Editions is the retail giant’s first major foray into guest designer collections, and it’s no doubt a response to the high-end collections like Stella McCartney and Proenza Schouler being offered at its competitors.
