Kylie Minogue's New H&M Beach Line

04/12/2007 at 04:30 PM ET

When H&M needed a face for their upcoming Australia inspired beachwear line, to hit stores in mid-May, they looked no further than Australian pop star Kylie Minogue. Already a style icon big enough to have a V & A museum exhibition dedicated entirely to her stage costumes, she now joins fellow London resident Madonna in designing for the chain. But unlike Madonna’s office appropriate pieces, Kylie’s beachwear collection is all about fun — shimmering silver bikinis, bright aqua blue and green swirl-print towels, bags and sarongs. Even better than the line’s low prices is that ten percent of the sales of the line will be donated to WaterAid, the international charity dedicated to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest people. Tell us: Are you excited to see Kylie’s line?

Kylie has had a hard couple of years (CANCER BATTLE). I think she is looking well in most of her photos. I agree this picture looks plastic…although she is quite beautiful, inside and out. Maybe the photo was intended to look fake-ish? We still luv ya Kylie…hang in there girl!

She looks wwwaaaayyyyy too tan. I thought she was black when I first saw this picture and she’s really a pasty white girl! I can’t wait to see the bathing suits, but the picture has to go. It looks so unnatural.

Wow. That photo is so airbrushed and digitally altered that she looks like a wax figure.

Why does this look like a wax figure? Kylie is a beautiful woman, there was no need to make her look so fake.

Is it me or does she look darker in this picture. I guess black/brown means healthy :-)

Kylie definatley received an airbrush tan for this photo. She is usually so white!! I reeally like the bathing suit though.. hopefully it will be available to buy soon.

It’s good to see her bounce back after her cancer treatment. She was smart to take the time off. As for the photo, it looks very plastic. Maybe it is a pic of someone else with her face transposed over someone elses? I don’t know. It doesn’t look real. I just thought the clothing line would have a portion of it’s profits donated to cancer research.

i belive if you have the body dont be ashamed where the hotest fashon, i am chunky, although my apperance is uptodate!!Dont BE a HATER IF U HAD HAD THAT BODY AIR BRUSHEDAND ALL YOU BETTER BELIVE WE WOULD BE WEREING IT !!!!PROUD FOR HER !!!!

This photo looks like some sort of computer-generated image. I wish they wouldn’t find it necessary to airbrush so much! There’s no H&M nearby, so I’m not excited about Kylie’s line. However, I love her and I’m so glad to see her back to work and doing well.
