Kimora Lee Simmons Announces Reality Show!

04/12/2007 at 03:30 PM ET

Model, designer, author, mother — somehow Kimora Lee Simmons still has time to add more job to the pile, signing up to star in the Style Network’s first reality show. Kimora is set to debut this summer, taking the viewer everywhere from the offices of her wildly successful Baby Phat brand to her palatial New Jersey estate. And lest you think she’s doing it all alone, she will be surrounded by her formidable staff, which includes publicists, managers, creative directors and fashion designers, as well as an extensive personal staff of nannies, chefs, drivers, stylists and hair/makeup artists (not to mention her two adorable daughters, seven year-old Ming Lee and four year-old Aoki Lee). And because it’s Kimora, you know there will be some highly quotable lines and surprise celebrity appearances. Tell us: Will you watch Kimora’s reality show?

Wow! EVERYONE has their own reality show now it seems, when is it time for mine?

Briar on

Probs not there’s way too much reality TV on now, maybe if I’ve really got nothing else to watch slash actually do.

Rita on

No. But I wish her all the best in her life. Reality shows like these just aren’t every person’s cup of tea.

Great Wonderful another nobody who married rich and now we can’t get rid of…

I’m not really a fan of hers and I think that BabyPhat is the tackiest label ever.

R on

Probably not. I love design shows, but not really shows on designers lives and how they show off their entourage and staff.

j on

she may just tie tyra in the narcissism dept…

g on

are you kidding me !
i dont like her..she is fake and ugly and her clothes are tacky

AnnieM on

I’m inclined to agree with you all. She was humorous in the film Beauty Shop.

I’m not surprised- soon anyone living in Hollywood with money will have their own TV show. I definitely won’t be watching, just as I don’t watch any other crap “reality” show.

Same here, don’t count me in to watching her show. What’s with everyone wanting a reality show and thinking it would work? The show will probably be canned. I also agree with some that the Baby Phat line isn’t really all that. I’ve gotten magazines where they sell Baby Phat stuff in them and the clothing is so tacky looking. Some of the shoes are okay, but please, they aren’t worth the money they want for them. Besides I’m not interested in seeing an entourage hanging around and her going to her rich estate.

Sure, I’d check it out to see how it is! Why Not!

Are they trying to compete on Victoria Beckham´s reality show???

I would watch it if I was surfing through the channels and it was on. I admire her for creating an entire business but I agree that her clothes are pretty tacky. Too many bright colors and prints. Also why does she have to emblazon every stupid shirt with a gigantic BABYPHAT sign. Can she not see that women want to look smart, ladylike and sophisticated nowadays. No one wants to look like a cheap hooker. The clothes are not wearable past high school which was the last time I bought anything BABYPHAT! Come to think of it, if I were in high school now I wouldn’t wear BABYPHAT. Plus when they start selling your clothes in Burlington Coat Factory you might want to begin revaluating your strategy. Just a thought Kimora!

She looks scarey! What a look. I’d be too afraid to watch! How many more reality shows can we all take? There is too many out there as it is.

While I have alot of admiration for the women who can do it all – I can’t include Kimora Lee Simmons. Consider the number of people on her personal staff! I wonder if she remembered to thank her former husband for the leg-up he gave her into the business. We’d all be going, “KIMORA WHO” if it wasn’t for Russell Simmons. Before I forget – No, I won’t be watching her show – I have enough of my own reality to deal with, thank you very much!

Just what we need….. another reality show!! Reality check – no one cares.

I don’t think ‘reality shows’ are really based on the ‘average’ person’s perception of ‘reality’—I’ll be glad when one of the overpaid network execs thinks of the “next new best thing” and ‘reality shows’ cease to exist.

I think Kimora is so pretty! It might be fun to check out the show and see what she’s like. It’s fun to see how the rich and famous live.

Tasha on

Of course I will watch Kimora’s reality TV show!!! I love to see a woman in charge and being brutally honest. It doesn’t get any better than that. Women Rock!!!!

lali on
