I think Jennifer Hudson looks better in that dress than the model.Jennifer Huudson would make an impressive fashion model as her body resembles an average woman in a more realistic way.Let’s ditch the tall skinny models and really tall lanky Victoria’s Secret Angels.Jennifer Hudson can rock the catwalk and be a Victoria’s Secret Angel too!

Hey! I’ve got news for you – It didn’t work on the runway either! The bolero looks like a heavy piece of aluminum folded around the neck and shoulders of the model and the dress is to matronly for her age and figure.

Once Jennifer Hudson got rid of that frickin’ bolero the dress was nice. Even the bolero on the model looks hideous. When I saw Jennifer with the bolero and how the collar was popped, it looked ridiculous, it looked like something out of the “Jetsons”. You couldn’t notice anything, because your attention was attracted to the bolero, you just couldn’t look past it. Because of the bolero, the hair looked hideous, but when she took the bolero off, everything looked nice on her, and the hair even looked great. I don’t like how the dress fits around the model’s legs either. Honestly, the dress really isn’t all that great. However, I loved the dress Jennifer performed in that night. I also agree with People.com, Jessica Biel’s dress was awful as well, didn’t suit her well, and not something that should be worn to the Oscars. Nobody wants to see boobage from the side, but I did love the fuchsia color.

It honestly doesn’t look that bad on either of them. Don’t be so quick to talk trash about other women, even if their overweight. Clothing size certainly isn’t the measure of a woman.

Nothing is “squeezed” on Jennifer Hudson — they obviously made the dress to fit her like it was supposed to. And I actually think it looks nicer on her. She fills out the chest. The dress looks a bit weird around the model’s legs.

I like the dress better on the model but I think Jennifer looked fine in it after she took off the bolero. I agree with Michelle, the way she popped her collar looked ridiculous.

i think that the dress looks so much better on the model…but that is who it is designed for. Designers are just trying to sell their clothes, and clothes generally look better on thinner people. The designer’s are just running a business after all.

Come on, people!! Jennifer Hudson looked GREAT in that dress!! I think she looks better than the model. It complimented her skin tone and hair color, and the bolero added a funky twist. LOVED IT & loved it ON J-HUD! :)

I don’t think the dress itself is ugly… Jennifer Hudson looked fine once she got rid of tha tridiculous bolero. And the way they popped the collar… it just looked like some futuristic abhorration.
But… for Jennifer Hudson’s big night (come on, we all knew she was going to win the Oscar) I think they should have chosen a dress that was more of a stunner anyway, bolero or not.
