There’s something about the change of seasons that makes me want a new fragrance. When H&M needed a face for their upcoming Australia inspired beachwear line, to hit stores in mid-May, they looked no further than Australian pop star Kylie Minogue. Already a style icon big enough to have a V & A museum exhibition dedicated entirely to her stage costumes, she now joins fellow London resident Madonna in designing for the chain. But unlike Madonna’s office appropriate pieces, Kylie’s beachwear collection is all about fun — shimmering silver bikinis, bright aqua blue and green swirl-print towels, bags and sarongs. Even better than the line’s low prices is that ten percent of the sales of the line will be donated to WaterAid, the international charity dedicated to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest people. Model, designer, author, mother — somehow Kimora Lee Simmons still has time to add more job to the pile, signing up to star in the Style Network’s first reality show. Kimora is set to debut this summer, taking the viewer everywhere from the offices of her wildly successful Baby Phat brand to her palatial New Jersey estate. And lest you think she’s doing it all alone, she will be surrounded by her formidable staff, which includes publicists, managers, creative directors and fashion designers, as well as an extensive personal staff of nannies, chefs, drivers, stylists and hair/makeup artists (not to mention her two adorable daughters, seven year-old Ming Lee and four year-old Aoki Lee). And because it’s Kimora, you know there will be some highly quotable lines and surprise celebrity appearances. Tell us: Will you watch Kimora’s reality show?

As soon as we saw Kate Hudson in her super-cute Chanel dress at the Tom Ford dinner last night, we knew we had already fallen in love with it — back when Rachel Bilson wore it to a Chanel dinner in L.A. in January. We think that both women look sweet and sophisticated in their bow and chain-laden frock — and we can’t possibly decide who we like it better on. But we know you can! Tell us: who wears their Chanel dress better? Rachel or Kate?

The Oscar de la Renta Fall 2007 fashion show at Tuesday’s Saks Fifth Avenue Colleagues’ luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire featured lots of dresses paired with boleros, but honoree Brooke Shields kept it simple in an LBD and heels by the designer. Perhaps she recalled the beating Jennifer Hudson took when she showed up to the Oscars in one of Oscar de la Renta’s shiny cropped creations. In fact, J Hud’s bolero and brown dress actually made an appearance at the luncheon. No, not on Molly Sims and Angie Harmon, who showed up in more demure dresses from the designer, but on the runway, where it garnered a far more favorable reaction – there was actual clapping as people gasped at the idea that this was the much maligned dress. Another fashion déjà vu moment: the fuchsia gown worn by Jessica Biel. Note to Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley, who infamously styled Hudson for the Oscars: just because a look works on the runway doesn’t mean that it’ll work on the red carpet.

The $10 “Light The Way” candle is scented with organic Bulgarian lavender essential oil, the glass container and paper packaging are recycled and the soy wax will burn cleanly for 20 hours. This is a do-gooder, affordable indulgence, that has the added benefit of helping to save children around the world. According to the UN every fifteen seconds a child dies from lack of access to clean water. All proceeds of Light The Way will be donated to Global Greengrants Fund helping to protect clean water around the globe.

There have been a lot of whispers about Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake over the last few months, but one thing’s for sure — the actress definitely loves his jeans. While walking her two pooches this week in L.A., Jessica sported her new favorite denim, the Savoy in Evening Wash from Justin’s successful William Rast line. And it isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the buff star wearing the pair. They must be really great jeans — Timberlake’s ex Cameron Diaz is still wearing her William Rast post-breakup.
