Is Kate Moss Setting Another Trend?

Kate Moss has certainly earned her reputation as a trendsetter over the years — depending on how you look at it, you can blame or thank Kate for moccasin boots, skinny jeans, ballet flats and fedoras. So, when we saw Kate out and about in L.A. last week in floor-grazing hemlines, we couldn’t help but take notice. From her long black skirt to her sweet floral frock to her skinny t-shirt dress, Kate eschewed her tight pants and mini skirts that she’s been sporting for quite a while. We also noticed Ashley Olsen out this weekend in a similarly sweeping style — is long the next big thing? Tell us: Is this a look you’d wear?

me

No.

AnnieM

The first two are ok – I’m not sure about the gray outfit though. I’m too short to wear this myself, but again, the moderate to tall gals can.

Meri

yes, yes, yes!

Adrienne

I was wondering when this trend was gonna start, one celebrity is bound to break away from all the micromini lengths and start a trend. I dont mind long skirts but Im off peasant skirts… kate moss rocks

j

yes, i’d wear this look. and despite what anyone’s personal opinion is of this woman, she is an ICON in a industry full of wannabe’s.

Rara

i have been dying to find long skirts like that…do you guys know where she got them? and if they’re too expensive is there a cheaper version of those skirts?
thanks

Dragonfly

Stop giving her so much credit. These “trends” are just rehashed from year to year.

I thought Kate Moss was a great model a few years ago, but I think her personal style is hideous! The words “trend-setter” and “Kate Moss” should never be in the same sentence together!

hex

I wear those types of skirts anyway, not really new for me.

Dawn

First two i would wear the third i use as a couch cover. But i’m 5′1 no way would those work for me.
