Wanna Smell Like Usher?
As if there weren’t already plenty of celebs with fragrances — Gwen, Kate, even Derek Jeter — R&B mega-star Usher has thrown his stylish hat into ring. WWD reports that the new scent will hit shelves in September and will be the first step towards building a fulll fashion brand. Usher tells WWD, “I see fragrances as an opportunity to diversify my profile and make a great introduction into fashion and lifestyle. . . I want to make a proper introduction to the fashion business, because fashion is definitely coming.” There will be a cologne for men, Usher He, and a perfume for women, Usher She, with prices starting at $50. Expect to see an ad campaign shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti in magazines this fall. Tell us: Will you wear a fragrance by Usher?
