Charitable Idea: Jennifer Garner’s Baby Bag

Every mom knows that you need baby bags to hold a ton, but you still want them to be as stylish as the rest of your wardrobe. But sometimes that is harder that it should be. Luckily, Coach has stepped up to the plate with their Healthy Child Baby Bag, $348, in a new “scribble” design. Big enough to cart everything and stylish enough to save you from that gooey Mommy-and-Me look, the bag comes with a diaper changing pad, plenty of pockets and a detachable shoulder strap. The bag is only available on Coach.com, and 20% of online sales will benefit Healthy Child Healthy World, an organization that educates parents on how to create healthy environments for their children with cleaner, safer choices at home. No wonder moms like Jennifer Garner, Brooke Shields and Monet Mazur are already toting it.

i love this bag! i would buy one if it wasnt a diaper bag..

i actually can’t really stand the scribble bags. logo bags in general really bother me, unless it’s super subtle. at least the scribble theme goes with the diaper bag.

Love it!!

Lauren – they do make handbags with the scribble pattern! See: http://www.coach.com/content/product.aspx?product_no=9367&category_id=68 (which is also much cheaper for $178!). I just love Coach and I love that they work with such wonderful organizations. Too bad my son is too old to need a diaper bag anymore. LOL.

I don’t like anything where the label or name of the designer is the sole design of the bag. Most of the bags Coach makes are just their logo. Logo designs are not my thing, but I can see how this would be a cute diaper bag, it’s pastel, feminine and flirty.

i LOVE anything coach! i wish i had a kid just so i could carry it! LOL!

Someone do the math on this 20% of 368 online sales? This is another thing look we are donating money look how wonderful we are. When they wouldn’t really loose all that much money if they gave all online sales to the organization….

I am a big fan of the Coach line but, first and foremost, I am the mother of a 4 year old boy –when I discovered I was pregnant and went on the “quest for the diaper bag”, I really was’nt interested in anything with logos, in baby colors or that could not be used past the diaper phase. What I finally settled on was a diaper bag by LeSportsac (for about half the cost of the Coach diaper bag); it is available in lots of patterns that change seasonally, comes with a changing pad as well as a smaller bag for carrying things, lots of useful and well placed pockets and it can be tossed into the washing machine with no problem.

That is the cutest diaper bag I’ve ever seen! Almost makes me want to get married now and have babies, lol.
