Look We Love: Hilary Duff’s Jewelry

With all the looks that Hilary Duff wore during her whirlwind week in N.Y.C. last week, I couldn’t get over her jewelry on March 27’s TRL. Big earrings, a big ring, big bracelets — it should all be too much for such a petite girl, but on Hilary it works so well. Chalk it up to the careful proportions and the limited color palette of black, white and gold. I covet her Chanel Fine Jewelry ring — Rachel Bilson and Sienna Miller own it too, of course — but I’ll settle for picking up this $3 rose ring at Forever21.com instead. As for her luxe enamel panther bracelets (you know I love anything with an animal motif), I’ll stack up these Kenneth Jay Lane cheetah, zebra and tiger striped bangles, $65 each, instead. And as for her gold chain hoops, I’ll grab these from CC Skye at maxandchloe.com for $158. If only duplicating her flawless eye makeup at home was as easy! — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

Love the chanel ring and her bangles, don’t like her gold hoop earings(would if they were in white gold or sterling silver).

And her eye makeup is so stunning…

The look is ok, not a huge fan though. I like more classic looks, i.e. Tiffany’s. The jewlery would be good for casual looks.

I think that one bracelet would of been enough but that’s just me. I think the ring is a bit oversized.

That much big jewelry is just not something I would wear. I like wearing one unique, eye-catching piece with some other very classic, minimalist jewelry. Growing up, I only saw older ladies wearing a lot of big jewelry, so that has always stuck with me.

Jewelry, yes, cute – good job PEOPLE for spotting the look! I think Hilary is looking very pretty and healthy – much improved from when she got those huge veneers and she weighed about 80 pounds (I guess putting on a little weight helped balance out her face and made the veneers look half way natural). I don’t like her new song, it’s kind of annoying – and the video sucks too. I like that she feels more confident – she is definitely more sexy in the video than any others, but it still sucks. She has the looks and the talent, but somehow she still misses.
