Kate Hudson’s Lunch Date Cheap Chic

Kate Hudson just gave us one more reason to be inspired by her style. With all the fabulous designer clothes at her disposal, the sunny actress chose an adorable and affordable white dress to wear out to lunch with Owen Wilson recently. Kate’s crocheted white dress is a new style from Ella Moss and is available for $154 at bloomingdales.com. Sadly, her stylish “Antigone” sandals are Chanel and a bit more pricey — $650 at select CHANEL Boutiques, 800-550-0005. And a hot date with Owen Wilson? Priceless.

KT from Cda

A very pretty dress. Great for someone who is thin but if it was on a heavier person it could look like a maternity dress. Maybe. A bit pricy. As for the shoes, like a few pieces of leather are worth that! The only reason why designers charge so much is b/c stars are foolish enough to spend as much as designers dream up something to be worth.

A $154 dress is NOT affordable in my household!! And even if it was, I would know better than to wasted that kind of money on one dress!

Dawn

This looks more like a shirt these dresses are cute and all but for real life they are to short for the everyday woman. My opinion.

kristina

love the shoes and the dress yea maybe a bit pricey but thats what she works for right?and if the girl likes the clothes then y not?

Elda

love the dress and she looks great but the price! anyways i agree with KT, i live on a budget.

Anna

She looks cute…BUT…I’m not sure what People pays, but $154 for a sundress is not exactly “affordable” for the average shopper. Now, the “I’m not a plastic bag” canvas bag they featured for $10 is amazing, but paying over $100 for it on ebay is ridiculous. Is there a way to get the bag for a reasonable price?

carol

I totally agree with the others! Way too much money for a summer frock! Get real people…i have more important things to buy – like gasoline!!!!!!!

AnnieM

Love this look. I’d buy that dress, but I can’t bring myself to spend much on shoes (I’m too hard on them and it is never worth it – scuffs and whatnot).

Le Le

She’s looks adorable!

Jenn

The dress is cute. I like it but $154 is definitely not affordable in my book. And please someone tell me why you would spend $650 on a pair of sandals?! Can anyone justify that reason? If you have $650 extra bucks to blow on sandals, then maybe you should think about putting that money towards something good like charity or something!
