You Asked, We Found: Eva Mendes' Wide-leg Jeans

04/04/2007 at 04:30 PM ET

“Who makes those sexy and sassy wide-leg jeans that Eva Mendes sports in your Would You Wear It” gallery?- Danielle

Jumping on the wide-leg jean bandwagon, Eva Mendes showed up at the Grindhouse L.A. premiere in a pair of Diane von Furstenberg’s “Gavin Jeans” in indigo, $325, available at dvf.com. The “Gavin” jean is right off the runway with a high waist and super wide-legs. For the same look, but for half the price try this other celeb favorite from Seven for All Mankind. Seven’s “Ginger” jean in Daytona carries the same wide cuff, high waist and super flare for $143 at nordstroms.com — and we’ve already spotted them on Liv Tyler and Lindsay Lohan. Or really save on these wide-legs from forever21.com for only $30.

I am not at all into wide legged jeans. They look huge and they cover up your shoes!!! You’d trip over them just walking.

Yesssss, those super ugly stupid looking “skinny” jeans are finally not the only thing in style. Woohoo!

Altho, Eva’s jeans are too long and wide for me. Just too over the top. You can get wide leg jeans or boot cut jeans that look classy and not so grungy. I’m just happy they’re finally back – yay!

Eva mendes is beautiful!!!! I think those pants are really cute I would sport them!!!!1

They are fine – but I’m not sure what is going on with that hem-stitching-stuff. I find that distracting and it cuts her line a bit (but no biggie since she is a tall, slender gal). I’m too short for this look, but it can look very nice. Angie Harmon was recently shown in her’s with a sleeveless top – she looked like a million bucks.

Those pants are heinous! If they make a tall, slender star look like she has stub legs, what will it do to a shorter woman? I’ll stick with my skinny jeans, which are actually quite flattering to my figure, until they come up with something else, thanks!

Who are the people asking for the ugly clothes?

I’m glad that skinny jeans are on their way out, too. I think these are a little TOO wide for me, especially because I’m quite petite. However, they’ve a good look for someone willing to be daring with the trend. I just wouldn’t pair loose pants with a loose sweater like Eva did. She should have worn something more form-fitted on top.

While I agree it’s a good thing skinny jeans are “out”, I don’t necessarily like “big” jeans either. These are awful! Seriously, they look like a high schooler made them in home ec. class. Yikes!

They look like clown pants minus the polka dots!
