Jumping on the wide-leg jean bandwagon, Eva Mendes showed up at the Grindhouse L.A. premiere in a pair of Diane von Furstenberg’s “Gavin Jeans” in indigo, $325, available at dvf.com. The “Gavin” jean is right off the runway with a high waist and super wide-legs. For the same look, but for half the price try this other celeb favorite from Seven for All Mankind. Seven’s “Ginger” jean in Daytona carries the same wide cuff, high waist and super flare for $143 at nordstroms.com — and we’ve already spotted them on Liv Tyler and Lindsay Lohan. Or really save on these wide-legs from forever21.com for only $30.

Kate Hudson’s Lunch Date Cheap Chic

Kate Hudson just gave us one more reason to be inspired by her style. With all the fabulous designer clothes at her disposal, the sunny actress chose an adorable and affordable white dress to wear out to lunch with Owen Wilson recently. Kate’s crocheted white dress is a new style from Ella Moss and is available for $154 at bloomingdales.com. Sadly, her stylish “Antigone” sandals are Chanel and a bit more pricey — $650 at select CHANEL Boutiques, 800-550-0005. And a hot date with Owen Wilson? Priceless.

Salma Hayek’s Marital Brand Loyalty

When news broke that Salma Hayek was engaged and pregnant, we were all thrilled for her — and secretly jealous of the amazing wardrobe that comes with being married to Henri-Francois Pinault. The French businessman is the president of PPR, which owns such luxury brands as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Boucheron, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Sergio Rossi. So is it any wonder that Salma is already showing brand loyalty to her fiancé? We spotted her in a Gucci dress while presenting Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And the next day, she hit the YSL store in Beverly Hills for a little retail therapy. All we can say is this is bound to be one super-stylish pregnancy!

Look We Love: Hilary Duff’s Jewelry

With all the looks that Hilary Duff wore during her whirlwind week in N.Y.C. last week, I couldn’t get over her jewelry on March 27′s TRL. Big earrings, a big ring, big bracelets — it should all be too much for such a petite girl, but on Hilary it works so well. Chalk it up to the careful proportions and the limited color palette of black, white and gold. I covet her Chanel Fine Jewelry ring — Rachel Bilson and Sienna Miller own it too, of course — but I’ll settle for picking up this $3 rose ring at Forever21.com instead. As for her luxe enamel panther bracelets (you know I love anything with an animal motif), I’ll stack up these Kenneth Jay Lane cheetah, zebra and tiger striped bangles, $65 each, instead. And as for her gold chain hoops, I’ll grab these from CC Skye at maxandchloe.com for $158. If only duplicating her flawless eye makeup at home was as easy! — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg
