Courteney Cox's Thank-You Present to Jennifer Aniston

04/03/2007 at 06:00 AM ET

Courteney Cox had a fashionable way to say thank you to her BFF Jennifer Aniston after she appeared on her show Dirt (and its much anticipated kiss scene) in the March 27th finale. Cox gave her fellow-Friend a pair of Robert Marc Snakeskin shades. These are the same shades that Courteney’s character, tabloid editor Lucy Spiller, is seen wearing on the show, but in a slightly different color. Jen’s new pair are a limited-edition frame that retails for $595 at Robert Marc boutiques. Also available: Slightly less expensive Snakeskin frames, about $375, in white, green and black. Visit RobertMarc.com for a boutique near you to purchase the frames.

That is a ridiculous amount of $ to spend! But, maybe she got them free – who knows. I do like the shades, but could never even afford the “slightly less expensive” version for over $300! Wow – you could feed so many children with that money!!!

Much love to Jen and Courtney tho, you girls are beautiful!

Thanks, but no.

I love how People.com says, “Slightly less expensive…$375….” LOL. Slightly expensive? Yeah right. $595 or $375 is too much for a pair of sunglasses. If you wanna purchase sunglasses at that price, go ahead, more power to you. They are a decent pair of sunglasses, something I would wear, but not in my price range. Just because Robert Marc is imprinted on them doesn’t mean squat to me. They are a regular pair of sunglasses. I just bought a pair of cute regular sunglasses from Target for only $12.

I would be insulted if she gave them to me! Very ugly. Anyways, I bought my pair at, dare I say it, Dollarama and I love them. Nobody would know the difference. I’ve seen them at other stores and they wanted a considerable amount for them.

I believe they mean well but who wouldn’t with the money they make anything they give as a gift is cute and a tax rightoff…so no big money loss for them…i feel us people not famous like they are, work hard too and we don’t get 1/4 of the wages they get…many of them are so lost without money but if given a week to live and struggle with the pays us hard workers get trust me they would think twice…stop spending on stupid shades and send that tax right off gift to children with cancer or homeless people who have no where to go led alone live..or even go on a real vacation and visit some ugly looking homes and drop a few bucks in their mailboxes and make someone happy…think about it.
