Spotted Shopping: Hayden, Reese and More!

HAYDEN PANETTIERE of Heroes, spending over an hour pouring over the latest trends at Harmony Lane. The actress showed an affinity for metallic clothing and left with a gold shimmer and bronze dress by Fighting Eel and a Karen Zambos shrug in gold. She also did well in the accessory department — scoring headbands, colorful bracelets and a key charm necklace from Vita. And for an upcoming event, Panettiere purchased a long butterfly print dress from Voom by Joy Han.

REESE WITHERSPOON, taking home both tie-dye camouflage and dragon embroidered cargos at Los Angeles store Lucky Kid. Witherspoon also snagged a bunch of boy’s T-shirts (including the Costa Rica ringer tee and the Hermosa Surfer T-Shirt) as well some Lucky Kids girls pieces. And for herself? The actress pondered a pair of white Lola Straight jeans. Meanwhile, other celebrities making the shopping scene at Lucky Kid include: new parents MARCIA CROSS and husband TOM MAHONEY on a shopping spree. And mom-to-be (again!) JULIA ROBERTS dropped in with daughter Hazel.

NICK LACHEY and girlfriend VANESSA MINNILLO, picking up baby clothes and toys at Beverly Hills boutique Petit Tresor. The couple was shopping for Lachey’s niece, Isabella, to celebrate her 1st birthday. Among their bounty: a ballerina suitcase puzzle, a plush pink robe and pink and gold sneakers.

MISCHA BARTON, hunting for beauty products at LUSH in London’s Covent Garden. The O.C. star picked up her favorite Cupcake Bio Fresh Face Mask (she’s previously bought this at LUSH’s Aspen store) and Sunny Hunny Soap Stack — a stack of the store’s favorite soaps — and the lavender-infused French Kiss Bubble Bar Slice.

What Was Kirsten Dunst Thinking?

Never mind the new guy, Johnny Borrell of the British band Razorlight. What we can’t get over is what Kirsten was thinking when she put together her pub-hopping outfit on Tuesday night. Let’s start with the obvious — yellow thigh-highs with orthopedic oxfords? A dress that’s so short that it qualifies as a shirt? And the clashing bright-red Chanel purse and maroon floral scarf? Oh, Kirsten. We’re all for mix-and-matching, and London is the right place to try out eccentric fashion choices … but we can’t help but think that you’ve missed the mark on this one. Tell us: What do you think of Kirsten’s oufit? Would you ever wear it?

Would You Wear Rachel’s Rope Bracelet?

At first glance, we thought Rachel Bilson was taking the Nautical trend to an extreme when we spotted her wearing this rough-looking rope wrapped around her wrist. But upon closer inspection, we realized this is hardly something you would find in the Home Depot do-it-yourself aisle. This convertible bracelet/necklace by Beth Lauren is actually made up of gold threads woven with a 14K gold-filled chain and wrapped in 14K gold-filled wire. It can be purchased for $170 at bethlauren.com . It’s definitely edgier than the preppy rope bracelets that we are used to seeing. Tell us: Would you wear Rachel’s rope bracelet?

Will Ferrell Wants Sanjaya’s Hair

Will Ferrell is happily rocking a highlifted afro for his next film, the basketball comedy “Semi Pro,” and blithely wore a dark shag cut for Blades of Glory. But when asked at the Hollywood premiere of the new ice-skating comedy which celebrity he’d love to swap tresses with, he immediately looked to American Idol’s Sanjaya Malakar. “I love this Sanjaya kid, silky smooth,” Ferrell gushed. “I’d love to run my fingers through it, if that’s possible … but I may get in trouble for it.” Why not vote for Ferrell and which Sanjaya style he should run his fingers through?

Sienna Miller: Eco Ambassador

In her role as Global Cool ambassador, Sienna Miller stepped out yesterday (in a very cute t-shirt, we might add) to launch the collaboration of Global Cool and the IIFA’s (International Indian Film Academy Weekend). In an effort to get a billion people worldwide to reduce their greenhouse emissions, the foundation has joined forces with not only Hollywood but Bollywood too. Joining fellow Global Cool campaigners Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom and Josh Hartnett, Sienna is in good company and even plans to go to India in the near future to see how the campaign is going. If you want some tips on how to go green and be as ‘cool’ as our A-lister friends, then check out global-cool.com, or watch Rosario Dawson talk about the organization on myspace.com.
