Do You Match Your Accessories Like Vanessa?

We already know she looks good in short-shorts, but at a recent SELF magazine event, Vanessa Minnillo confessed to PEOPLE that her real weakness is perfectly matched accessories. “I’ve gotten into purses and sunglasses like it’s my job,” the TRL host told us. “I have to match my purse with my outfit as well as a great pair of shades. Like if I have on gold hoops and gold in my bag I won’t wear silver rimmed sunglasses. I’ve been really, really OCD with that lately.” She does “love all fashion,” but singled out designer Tracy Reese (whose beaded cocktail dress she was wearing) as a current fave. “I’m a big fan of her. I just love the store and love everything she does.” Tell us: Do you feel the need to match all of your accessories? Does it matter if they are different metals?

I also match my accessories to be on the safer side, but i would love to try haute couture in accessories…..just not sure if i can pull it off…anyways, Vanessa’s best matching accessory is Nick… she is more richer and popular because of him. I wonder if Nick gets a cut?

Yes I refuse to mix metals! It’s definitely part of my OCD–if I’m wearing gold and silver I obsess over it until I take something off, I just can’t get it out of my head. I’ve stopped wearing any gold because my wedding and engagement ring are platinum!

I am so sick of this girl. The only reason anyone pays attention to her is because she’s dating Nick Lachey. Nobody was aware of her before. She’s trying to be like Jessica but this mushy, pumpkin face can’t hold a candle to her!

I am the exact same way. If I wear silver, all my accessories have to match. I won’t wear gold and silver together. It’s weird, but I have always been like that.

I typically don’t wear much jewelry, when I do it’s silver so I don’t have to worry about mixing metals. My sunglasses have black metal rims, and I wear the same ones pretty much every day. I wear mostly black or neutrals, but I want to have a pop of color so I carry a bright bag. I don’t care that it isn’t the same color as the rest of my outfit–then it would be boring. I carry a red purse most of the time, I also have a green one I carry depending on my mood.

Absolutely! I keep my brown sunglasses with silver accents in my brown purse with silver accents. My brown sunglasses with gold accents are in the brown and gold purse, and my black with silver, black with gold, you see where this is going…

I have never matched, it looks old-fashioned to me. I don’t match shoes to purse either. I’ve been told I dress great, so I guess I’m doing fine.
