The not-so-newest fragrance on the market is Givenchy's Irresistable. It's very xpensive but I love its fragrance. I saw a commercial a few years ago with a high-profile person promoting it. That would be my fragrance of choice for spring.

Ooh I love perfume(I collect them). All of those perfumes sound great, except for the 1st one.

I don't change because of the seasons, I usually wear what kind of mood I am in; so if I am in a sporty mood I'll wear Roots-Spirt by Roots Canada(it smells so good) or Heiress by Paris Hilton(something with citrus notes), and if I'm in a dressy moody I'll wear something with floral notes and so on.

Most businesses where I live have a scent free policy because a lot of people are allergic to scents, so I don't understand why perfumes are still being made and still selling so well...and why anyone would pay that much for it!

A perfume I don't really hear as much "buzz" about is Ms. Dior Cherie. I've been wearing since I got it as a Christmas gift. It's marketed for the "young woman", but anyone can enjoy it. It smells heavenly and it's light enough and perfect for all those cute spring mini dresses we are all wearing this season.

I would like to change from my regular scent, Amazing Grace, does anyone know of a really light scent that's not too heavy? Otherwise I'll get a migraine.

I do switch perfumes between spring/summer and fall/winter. I wear Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle in winter but it's too heavy for summer so I wear Armani Code which smells quite similar to the Chanel but has a slightly more floral touch. I can't wear most perfumes as they smell gross on me, but these two, along with Calvin Klein's Euphoria and Prada smell like they were made for me. I occasionally look for new scents but it's always so hard. I picked my two main ones from them catching my nose in magazines.

I love perfumes, I live in The Caribbean, so we don't have a change of seasons so noticebly as in the States, but from
time to time I switch perfumes, because of the high humidity and or to the warm weather (80 to 85 in the springtime and in summer from the 90's to 100 degrees) I know that perfumes changes on you when you get used to a
scent. Once a bought Ombre Bleu and this perfume really
represents the Islands, you could feel the scent of vanilla
and cocunuts, but as all good perfumes this was discontinued. For R, I recommend Autour de la Vanille by
Molinard, not expensive for a french perfume, could find it
at Imagination Perfumery.com, Dior Addict Eau de Parfum is
vanilla, madarin and rose and Tutti Dolce Extracts. i hope
you enjoy them. Yvonne

Ummm, how does a "breeze rippling through palm fronds" smell exactly? I mean, does the perfume smell like the wind? Or is it an island breeze, so fruity, floral with a hint of seawater? One that I would also like to recommend is Calvin Klein's Euphoria Blossom. I just bought it a month ago and get constant compliments (and neck nuzzling from my sweetie) when I wear it. Another good beachy scent is Estee Lauder's Beyond Paradise--I wear that when I go to the coast or even just out to eat at a seafood restaurant overlooking the water, it's perfect!
