Buh-Bye Conservative: Star Jones is Back to Sexy!

03/27/2007 at 06:00 AM ET

To announce her new Court TV show, the former View host debuted her new legal style surprising all of us with her new sleek bob, tortoise shell glasses, and conservative button-up shirts. But just when you thought you knew what to expect of Star, she flipped it again! This weekend in Miami, she shed her specs and courtroom attire, briging back some of the old sexy style with serious bling, a leopard-print halter dress and a seriously low-cut body suit to show off her figure. We’re glad to see her fabulous new hair remained the same, but what’s Star’s real look? Will she go back to lawyer-conservative or start bringing out the mini-dresses again? Tell us: What do you think of Star’s sexy new look?

One word–YUCK!!

For those of you who say she needs to gain some of the weight back, “don’t worry, be happy…she will eventually gain some of the weight back, but not all of it”. Our bodies eventually get to the point that they know we need some of the excess weight we lost. I lost 154 lbs, and have gained 35-40 of it back, just as my doctor told me I would. She is doing what she feels is right for herself. As for her clothing choices, we’ve all seen ***much*** less cloth covering ***many*** other actresses. They don’t get trashed the way you trash Star. I’m not even a fan of Star’s, but we all deserve respect. Would you all want people saying such mean, nasty things about you when you’ve accomplished so much in your life? I think not. Opinions are one thing, trashing someone is completely something else.

I like Star, but the clothes have got to go. She looked great a few weeks ago with the more conservative look. I understand that she has lost alot of weight, but that doesn’t mean you can wear whatever you want. She is cleary putting makeup on her chest and arms and by the time she sweats it off, it is streaked and looks terrible. Star, just let it go!

Wait, people are HAPPY that star has gone back to sexy? When i look at her I’m ready to pull an Oedipus and gouge my eyes out.

What’s wrong with a sexy suit or dress, not something that looks like a 20 year old would wear it. Star needs to dress for her age and body type. Less is not more, especially when you’re showing off saggy arms and cleavage. A great tailored suit would have hidden all her “flaws” (and God above knows we all have some to hide) and made her look like a million bucks. Happy to hear she landed on her (well heeled) feet with a fab job though – eat your heart out Rosie!!!!!

I don’t think Star realizes the kind of scrutiny she is under or her effect on people. She obviously wants people to think she’s hot, but her look says she’s trying too hard.
She needs a designer to take her aside and cover up that saggy cleavage. She obviously hasn’t figured out that even thin women have figure flaws.

I agree with you Lisa! That’s what I’ve been thinking too.

one word: UGLY! If she’s in Tv then I can DEFINETELY be a mega movie star!!!

I agree with the person who said she thinks that Star looks “deflated” after her weight loss. She just became so self absorbed that I couldn’t stand watching “The View.” After she became enagaed and that was all she talked about, that was it for me. And then when she asked companies to sponser her wedding—-BIG TIME TACKY!! I liked her better when she was heavy. I think a little dose of humility was good for her, although now I can’t watch “The View” because of Rosie and her obnoxious mouth.
