Buh-Bye Conservative: Star Jones is Back to Sexy!

03/27/2007 at 06:00 AM ET

To announce her new Court TV show, the former View host debuted her new legal style surprising all of us with her new sleek bob, tortoise shell glasses, and conservative button-up shirts. But just when you thought you knew what to expect of Star, she flipped it again! This weekend in Miami, she shed her specs and courtroom attire, briging back some of the old sexy style with serious bling, a leopard-print halter dress and a seriously low-cut body suit to show off her figure. We’re glad to see her fabulous new hair remained the same, but what’s Star’s real look? Will she go back to lawyer-conservative or start bringing out the mini-dresses again? Tell us: What do you think of Star’s sexy new look?

What the heck is that white shimmer crap all over her upper body? I’ve seen other pictures where she has this on, and am just wondering if she has nasty skin or somthing that she has to cover up and hide it with that crap? Has anyone else noticed this?

When I lost 16 lbs, I was going crazy (okay…like a sk-nk) with the outfits and continued to do so for a year or so. I don’t think it’s at all unexpected or even inappropriate for a woman who was obese all of her life to want to show some skin in clothes that are not entirely age-appropriate. I think her personality was a result of self-loathing and as she is getting more comfortable in her own skin, it will change. The average age for getting married is 25 for women. She got married at 40. I never really disliked her until the bridezilla phase, but I think her weight coupled with her age and insecurity probably led her to act the way she did.

Having been a bridesmaid several times in the last year and dealing with brides-to-be, Star’s behavior doesn’t seem nearly as psycho as it did. If you love your friends, elope.

You go girl. I love your new look and the stand you took with the ladies of the view. I’m with you all the way.
