Supermodel Fashion Faceoff: Naomi vs. Gisele

As if five days of stylish service wasn’t enough, leave it to Naomi Campbell to turn the Department of Sanitation driveway into a catwalk March 23 when she left her community service sentence decked out in a heavily bejeweled floor-length Dolce & Gabbana gown with a metallic corset-belt. But as stunning as Naomi looked, we couldn’t help recalling the other supermodel who wore the gown first. Gisele Bündchen debuted a similar look at Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2007 show in Milan on Feb. 22, closing the show with poise (and boyfriend Tom Brady waiting in the wings) — even as her heel got stuck in the hem. Tell us: who do you think wears the Dolce & Gabanna gown better?

J.Lo: Has the Trendsetter Turned Follower?

Usually, Jennifer Lopez sets the trends that others follow — but seeing her top-knot at this weekend’s NRJ radio event in Paris, we could only think of Ellen Pompeo’s look at the SAG Awards in January. Tight bun on the top of the head? Check. Large diamond hoop earrings? Check. Pale glossed lips? Check. Tell us: What do you think of J.Lo’s newest do?

Sniff-n-Tell: Coach’s First Scent

Coach may have mastered the purse, but they are novices in the perfume market. The venerable leather goods company is trying its hand at fragrances by introducing the company’s first ever scent aptly called “The Fragrance.” President and creative director, Reed Krakoff, says it was inspired by genet, a wildflower from the South of France, and is a mix of florals, like mimosa and jasmine, with a touch of vanilla. Translation: the scent is young, clean and light, perfect for everyday wear– especially in the upcoming summer heat. A 1.7 oz bottle (left) of “The Fragrance” can be bought for $68 at coach.com or try the mini purse spray for $42 in a monagrammed silver tube. Are you going to try Coach’s new fragrance?
