Get The Look: Sarah Jessica's Sequin Mini Dress

03/22/2007 at 05:00 PM ET

It’s very rare when style icon Sarah Jessica Parker walks the red carpet in something we could even dream of affording! At a UNICEF event last night, the ambassador for the charity (and new designer) showed off her legs in a sequin mini by Alice & Olivia. The short-sleeve dress is $440 — which is definitely pricey, but not nearly as bad as the rest of her couture-filled wardrobe — and available at shopbop.com. Or lighten up for spring and try the white and silver tank version, $398, at scoop.com.

For a bargain, try the other options we found for you:

On Sale:
French Connection black tank sequin dress, now $160 from $190, frenchconnection.com

Steal:
Short sleeve sequin dress in black or grey, $90, asos.com

Now that’s what you call good taste!! I love this dress it looks so sexy on her, blue just brings out the best in you!!

this woman has hideous taste. the sleeves are weird and the shape is awful – sack of potatoes. and she should really go back to her curly hair – the straight hair and the centre-parting make her too long face look even longer.

SJP dress is great. But does anyone know where Bridget Moynahan got that fantastic wrap dress that she was wearing on Martha Stewart?

She looks great in this dress, very pretty.

I would of worn matching shoes. If you are going to stand out (which she does) then you might as well go all the way wear matching shoes. I’m usually not a big fan of her choices (yes, I know, I’m the only one who doesn’t) but this is very nice. But my eyes where drawn to her shoes.
