Lakisha Jones’s Million Dollar Diamonds

Lakisha Jones’s performance of the Shirley Bassey classic “Diamonds Are Forever” may not have blown away the judges on last night’s American Idol, but her million dollars’ worth of Kwiat diamonds certainly did. Paula Adbul called Lakisha a “smart girl” for knowing that singing about diamonds means someone will loan you the real thing. And the real thing they were! Kwiat provided the singer with a $150,000 26-carat diamond necklace, a $250,000 diamond brooch worn in her hair, a three-carat ring worth $10,000 and those multiple bracelets with almost 100 carats of diamonds! Whew. And Lakisha should get used to it: It’s just a taste of the borrowed red-carpet bling she’ll surely be wearing someday.

Madonna Madness Ready To Hit H&M

To celebrate the launch of the Designed by Madonna collection on Thursday March 22nd, H&M has announced that it will be raffling off autographed trench coats with the John Hancock of the Material Girl herself! The first 250 people in line at Los Angeles’ Beverly Center store and New York’s 51st Street store will be entered to win the coveted 10 coats! Sans autograph, the trench coats retail for $100, but with Madge’s signature the coat becomes a priceless work of art. Shame on those of you thinking about eBaying Madonna’s trench. But honestly, if you won the coat, what would you do with it? Wear it out every single night? Use it as the enviable overcoat to prom? Encase it in plastic and create a shrine around it? Click here to watch the humorous video for the line. Tell us: Are you going to buy a piece from Madonna’s H&M line?

Shanna Moakler’s New Bangs: Love ‘Em or Hate ‘Em?

Partying in Miami to celebrate her birthday (the Playmate turns 32 on March 28th), Shanna Moakler showed off her newly rekindled relationship with ex Travis Barker and a hot new do. Channeling an 80’s rock chick, Shanna went even brighter blonde and dared for heavy bangs — cut and colored at two separate salons! A new cut is a perfect jumpstart into summer, and what better way to change an entire look than to cut bangs? “I just wanted to do something new and fresh,” says the former Miss USA and Playboy model tells PEOPLE. “I love it!” Tell us: Do you agree with Shanna and love the new do? Or do you hate them and miss the old look?

Paris Hilton Hits the Runway in L.A. Fashion Week

Paris Hilton may be an international star – movies, TV, music and millions of paparazzi pictures to show for it. But at Monday’s 2B Free fashion show in Hollywood, Hilton did what she first gained notoriety for — walking the runway like a seasoned pro. Hilton, who has modeled for L.A.-based 2B Free two years in a row, she tells PEOPLE that she loves the casual line because “it’s comfortable, colorful.” Hilton’s pal Caroline D’Amore also sashayed the runway with her, as front-row pals Brandon Davis and Elisha Cuthbert cheered them on. Asked if she was nervous before the show (as if you thought she might ever get stage fright), Hilton told PEOPLE, “No, I love doing this!” Off the runway, Hilton says she’s back to shooting another installment of her reality show with Nicole Richie. “Just working on The Simple Life, doing that for the next couple weeks — a lot of fun!” Hilton says. “It’s been great. I’m really happy.”

Zac Posen’s Star-Studded L.A. Debut

As designer Zac Posen made his L.A. debut at the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday night, Demi Moore was so impressed with his Fall 2007 collection that she had to try on a coat straight off the poolside runway. Ever the gentleman, Zac rushed to have the jacket pulled and personally helped the star try it on. But Demi was hardly the only the A-lister watching Posen’s dreamy dresses come down the runway — Felicity Huffman, Kate Walsh, Rachel Bilson and Anjelica Huston were also among the West Coast “Posen Posse” who attended Zac’s private dinner following the show. And for those of us who were, ahem, not invited to the Chateau Marmont soiree, the full collection will be in stores. Zac tells PEOPLE that “It is so thrilling to have my collection’s largest representation in Los Angeles at Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills. Last night’s incredible event with Saks Fifth Avenue helped support a great cause, Chrysalis, and it was wonderful to see all my friends — old and new.”
