Keira Knightley’s Must-Have Bag Sells Out

Frantic fashionistas (yes, okay, myself included) waited in line for hours in London this morning in hopes of snagging the latest must-have designer bag. The I’m Not A Plastic Bag by Anya Hindmarch has been spotted the arm of Keira Knightley, it has an eco friendly message and wait for it… costs just £5 (or $10)!!! So off I go, at 9:30 AM, and I see a crowd of 300 or so people standing in the freezing cold outside the Knightsbridge store, yikes! With only a limited number on sale I decided to hot foot it to the department store Harvey Nichols and got there just in time to see a crowd running (yes, actually running) through the front doors. Walking through the store’s designer bag department amongst the Mulberry’s and Chloe’s seemed ironic but it was worth it, as bag in hand, I leave the store, triumphant . . . after all I have to do my bit for the environment, right? — Monique Jessen

Janice Dickinson: Front Row Fanatic

Even when she’s not on the runway, former supermodel Janice Dickinson still manages to steal the show. She strutted in promptly at showtime for the 2(x)ist fashion show dressed in a clingy Diane von Furstenburg printed wrap dress, black tights and ultra-high Christian Louboutin heels. She was full of energy — dancing around, blowing kisses for the camera and interacting with everyone around her. When the show started, she finally took her front row seat, where she shouted at the models from the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency as they came down the runway. Not content merely observe, Dickinson whipped a disposable camera out of her Balenciaga bag and started snapping photos with such vigor that she almost fell out of her seat! Who could even keep their eyes on the runway with so much going on in the first row?

Is Jessica Simpson’s New Bag Too Big?

fame

Back from a Roman Holiday with boyfriend John Mayer, the Blonde Ambition star showed off another new very yellow and very big Miu Miu bag. The buffalo leather tote, $940, at select Barney’s stores, seems a bit large for dinner. We love the color, called “mimosa” in Italian, but think Jess should try a roomy clutch for a date. What do you think? Is Jess’s new bag too big?
